That sounds like the nightmare car journey from hell @TheShellBeach I hope Cleo and Sebastian settle in quickly (and your daughter of course). Hope you haven't given yourself too much of an injury.

Gizmo has just wandered in, looking weary.

I daresay we'll never find out where he was.

I have bruised knees but I think I got off lightly.

Cleo is now on DD's bed. The two cats have explored their new living quarters and eaten some Felix and Purina Salmon and Rice, which was kindly donated by Linney and Gizmo after I accidentally ordered everything twice on Amazon last month.

Ooh, some months ago, DD was filmed on Series 13 of 999.

She'd been a call handler for London Ambulance for four years.

We're just watching it now.

Cat four is gorgeous! He's so small and fluffy, he's making me broody for kittens.

Pictures of kittens always make me broody for kittens.

Fred is pressed up against my leg, purring his little braincell out. Lexter is next to him, less purry and less loving but still adorable.

Shell, I hope things are better tomorrow for you and your family.

My sister has been giving me updates on what she's been doing now I have gone. She's at my favourite restaurant tonight, a place called Chimi Churri that does the best steak I have ever had in my life. Plus the weather is 28° with a light breeze. In Cardiff it's 8°. Sigh.

I swore at the time that I would never adopt kittens again and would only go for grown up cats. After 10 years my brain seems to have forgotten all the stressful what on earth are you doing now? moments and I find myself window shopping on the Cats Protection adoption pages. I've managed to resist so far.

Cat Three and Four have spent half an hour chasing each other up and down the stairs. Both now sound asleep.
Really happy that it’s working out so well.
We’ve put Four in his room tonight and Two is on the bed purring. Applied a squeezy treat to Two during an introduction to Four earlier and it calmed her right down.
Helping my friend take Four’s mother to the vet Tuesday, and Four’s two siblings are coming for a sleepover.

Sebastian on DD2's bed today.
He's quite an old man now and spends most of his time asleep.

A very handsome old man.

And Cleo has enjoyed exploring her new abode.

Last year, she disappeared for over four months, and DD thought she'd never see her again - but she eventually returned, very thin and bedraggled.

She's always been a dainty little cat, but very, very feisty.

When DD first got her, Cleo tour a bit of skirting board off the wall, searching for an alleged mouse.

The beastlings are content today. I have had some Amazon deliveries so the cats have two big boxes to play and sleep in. I have also finally got a new heated blanket so will be putting that on my bed shortly. I think Fred will love it.

And another welcome to Cleo and Sebastian. You can never have too many excellent cats 🐈.
