Oh heavens, what a day.
DD2 travelled up from London today, with a good deal of luggage and her two cats.
She's going to share DS2's flat until she gets her own.
Mr SB, DS2 and I drove for three hours to Glasgow to collect her. On the way, the windscreen wiper flew off and landed close to Loch Lomond. We couldn't possibly retrieve it, so we had to detour into Dumbarton to get another one.
We got to Central Station just as DD's train got in.
Poor DD had a migraine and had been sick throughout the journey.
We got back to the car, and I tripped on a stone slab, and landed heavily on my hands and knees. The pain was awful.
Once they got me back to the car, DD disappeared round a corner to be sick into a bag.
Then we settled down, with the two cats in baskets. Cleo was on DS2's knee and Sebastian was on DD2's knee.
We drove back to the village and the journey was uneventful until we were a mile away from home, when Cleo was sick.
As it had a noxious odour, DS2 was then sick.
We trailed miserably up the three flights of stairs to DS2's flat, and DD2 was sick once more as we got there. This caused DS2 to be sick again.
Mr SB and I left them to it......... in any case, I wanted to get home to look at my wounds.
Oh, and Gizmo got out this morning, in order to have an argument with Picard. Neither of them have been seen since.
Welcome to Scotland, Cleo and Sebastian! You're Excellent Cats now.
