The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

🤣🤣 I loved the reaction to him and his fluffy tummy. The poor poster who clearly hadn't been on one of our threads and said about him having a fluffy soft tummy. It's a trap!!!

Completely mad.
So she flounced from the thread about keeping cats out of the bedroom, then she flounced from the Fred Thread, then she started her own thread on Site Stuff to complain that they were Mean To Her, and nobody agreed with her (not even LilyMumsnet) so she flounced off the whole site.

And she managed to do all that without visiting Flouncers Corner.

Impressive, really.

I toyed with the idea of uploading a picture of my arm, torn to shreds, but thought better of it.

I figured the OP might launch into a diatribe about the wounds being All My Own Fault.

@Noodlehen you asked about letting Star go out.

I've always let my cats out but some people live by main roads and don't, which I understand.

My little rescue weighed 3.56kg at her maximum weight but she stayed teenager sized. This stray is twice her size but at her first weigh in was just under 2kg (she's fatter now). Can you lift him??

Toad is enjoying sitting on his cushion in the sun.

You are allowed - encouraged - to stroke him at any moment, including on the tummy. He’s very much like a dog in temperament, wants a pat and a kind word at any time day or night.

If you say his name he purrs, and his purr is the loudest I’ve ever heard. If you can’t see him, you just say his name and follow the purr to behind the curtains (for example)

@Pixiedust1234 - yes, perfectly liftable. He’s a rescue too, and was starved at a very young age. So he never stops eating and will steal anything he can get. Things no sane cat would eat.

We got him down by a couple of kilos but his food seeking went into overdrive and it was awful, so we gave up with the vet’s agreement.

Same here @Judystilldreamsofhorses I lurked on this thread for a bit and then Elton just got too cute and I was forced to share the love ! He's sulking at the moment because I interrupted his morning I've done a poo song, as I was on a work call and couldn't hear myself think.
