The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

@Allergictoironing - tablets crushed in to a Lick-e-Lix on a small saucer. Downside is that a posh saucer becomes expected for all Lick-e-Lixes 🤷🏼‍♀️

@TheShellBeach My neighbours all used to think he was a female cat as they said he was too pretty to be a male. They called him "Pretty Face" instead of Lexter.

A totally fed up cat who wants supper. This is not my cat but was the starving stray where I could feel in-between every rib and feel the dip in-between her leg bones. All the local rescues are full so she's eating all my food, annoying all my frogs and stealing my blankie.

Lexter was only staying with me until there was a space in a rescue. That was 8/9 years ago. Just saying...

Matt has taken to playing with a toy last thing at night and emitting loud meows.
I also keep coming home to a toy left on my bed. I suspect that is Socks.
We have a very realistic looking toy mouse. The cats are not very interested in it but I used to enjoy hiding it to freak out DD2. Now she’s moved out I might sneak it into her flat and hide it in a cupboard 😂

No name as I never intended to keep her (she's the fourth starving stray but I managed to get those into rescues). I was spoilt with my own CP rescue who was perfect in every way and I still miss her dreadfully after 5 years. However this one has an awful lot of similar personality traits to soulcat, with a good helping of idiocy on top.

After reading that back I think I'm doomed *sighs

Tobias breakthrough this morning. Put their breakfast down & started stroking Tobias as I did so (normal routine) and there was a short but definite rumble of purr coming from him! Think that's the very first time I've heard or felt a purr.

Frankie has taken to sleeping in the utility room on top of an old fruit machine, so I put the shark squishmellow bed on top so he has something comfortable to lie in. This morning the shark was on the floor so I was putting it back when Frankie made the tiniest saddest little meep noise at me, like he was saying thank you. He's an odd little cat but he is ridiculously cute at times.
