The last thread filled up very quickly, mainly thanks to Gizmo's adventures. He is now a fully-fledged Excellent Cat.

And it's allegedly summertime so Ho for the Hols!

Perfectly reasonable. Having a cat sitting on one while in the house abdicates one of all responsibility, so surely that applies in a work context too?

Despite living in a house with a million comfortable places to sleep, Toad has decided this is his bed. (I know this sometimes can be a sign of a UTI, but he is physically healthy. Mentally, I'm not so sure!)

Can Thistle (slightly belatedly) join the floofy black (in certain lights) cats who like having their stomachs and arm pits fussed? We have very few pictures of him, as it's often difficult to tell which end is which with all the fluff! The Cats Protection League told us he'd never be a lap cat. He evidently didn't get that memo...

My Bertie (no longer with us 😭) was a rescue feral kitten. Litter of 3 found with no mum. I was told to never expect him to be a lap cat. They underestimated how far he would go for food. Used to climb on my shoulders and walk down me to get to whatever I was eating. From that point, it was only a couple of steps to a comfy lap. He became such a snuggly lap cat. I miss him.

I'm having to brush Leroy 3 times a day at the moment 🙄
