I also own a ‘Linda’…! She’s called Beryl and gives no shits either. She likes to climb on top of the fridge and hit the treats down for all the cats to share… Her brother Bertie is my best behaved cat (although he’s partial to peeing on clean washing)

This is the terrible trio together -

Beryl and Bertie are brother and sister and will be 5 next week. Brain is from the same family and will be 6 months on the 8th May :)

Oh dear. DS and Izzy were sharing a blanket-and-stick moment when Izzy suddenly flipped upside down and grabbed his hand with all claws at once. The howl of anguish indicated to her that all was not well. She followed him at a distance with a mournful expression while he washed the wounds and I applied Savlon. Apparently not too much skin was broken but obviously it hurt like, well, we've all been there.

He's now recovering slightly grumpily, while she is sleeping the sleep of the innocent and virtuous in the top bed of the cat tree. As they do.

Don’t let the cuteness fool you, should have called her Beryl aka feral Beryl!

Millie's cats are all beautiful in different ways, but obviously Bonnie appeals to me the most. Am I doomed to have black and white cats for ever and ever? Would this be a bad thing?

I could have had, and was very tempted by, a snowshoe cat, one of the pair we had been invited to check out at the rescue (her sister was, guess what, black and white). However I suspect poor DS would have been zapped by her a lot more often than by Izzy, and possibly with malicious intent. Saw on the rescue's website the other day that they're still waiting to be adopted, 3 months after we turned them down for the robo-cats. They're beautiful, but will need an exceptionally patient household I feel.

is it just me who calls their cats by other names while talking to them? Betsy is Betsyboobalina, Bonnie is Bonniebonobo and Bella is Babybel/stinky Pete. Or am I just a mad cat lady🧐

Hey, we're all mad cat ladies (and gentlemen) here. You are in the right place. Mostly I call Izzy "wee kitty" or "busy Izzy" while Thrifty is Miss Cat or (if DS isn't listening) Miss Fatty. But we haven't had them that long, so other names will no doubt catch on in due course.

To my shame I have been known to call Breadcat "Pussky woo"

She looks at me with disgust.
Neighbours must think I am barking mad also if I call her in from the garden!

Breadcat was originally called Breadcat as she was a stray eating the bread off the bird table. A friend of ours has never approved of the name and tried for a while to float more cute bread based names like "Brioche" and "Crumpet"!
