Since I've been accused of taking 'alarming' cat photos - I offer you Lenny sitting on top of a speaker this morning. 🤣

And what has peeved Lenny this fine morning?
🤣

Was he singing?😼

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 20/01/2024 12:24

This was the photo I was after. Just thought the 'mid-yawn' face was funnier.
I do have a reputation to live up to. 😆

Lenny the Singing Cat, now and forever.

Prince spent this morning on my neck.

What a sweetie - love Prince's pink nose ❤️.

Gorgeous babies! And look at the size of (?) Suki's feet ... is she a particular breed or a DLH?

Suki is a 6 month old Maine Coon. Sox is 16 months.
Biscuit is definitely the dominant one of the trio. She free roams in our garden and if Suki and Sox are playing too roughly she will intervene and separate them.

TimeForBedSaidZebadee · 20/01/2024 13:35

We also have Gizmo who tolerates the other cats but makes it clear he thinks they're a pair of tools. He also hates all humans (females less so than men)
He really is the most bad tempered cat I've ever met but we still love him (from a distance most days😀)

TimeForBedSaidZebadee · 20/01/2024 13:36

We had one who lived to eighteen and purred once. Once. In his life. Not actively aggressive and would tolerate a stroking (I don’t think he ever scratched or bit unless he was being picked up or wormed, which is understandable). But a thoroughly angry character. Neighbour’s cat on his territory? Chunks of fur literally flying. New kittens? Sulk for next ten years. Kittens and very sexy mother arriving as strays? I’m moving upstairs.**

To be fair however, you've never met TC.

And here is a rare sighting of the lesser spotted Socks sitting on the back of the sofa.
She is actually emerging from under the bed more and coming out of her shell a bit over the last week when I’m at home on my own.

Aww, nice to see you Prince!

CeciledeVolangesdeNouveau · 20/01/2024 14:59

And nice to see you Socks!

Papergirl1968 · 20/01/2024 15:09

She's lying on my chest for the first time ever.
She sleeps right next to me at night and walks over me in bed, but this is the first time she's ever lay on me.

We had a free roaming rabbit called Pipkin who nibbled his way through our telephone cables.

He also tried to have sex with our guinea pig

Ooh I wondered if she could be a Maine Coon! She'll be bigger than Sox soon enough ... be fun to see Biscuit bossing her when she's full size. 😄

TheShellBeach

Biscuit has been known to get frisky with Sox and Suki. They don't seem to mind 😀

CeciledeVolangesdeNouveau · 20/01/2024 20:47

Er, I hope you mean she likes to frisk around with them in the sense of “gambolling”!

I suspect frisky here really does mean frisky I'm afraid.
I'm off to hide behind Karl's modesty leaf 🤣🤣

It'll be sex, Cecile.

You know what they say about rabbits.

That’s what worries me…

Catsmere · 20/01/2024 23:44

Someone's happy. She's got the warmest spot in the house (it's turned cool again today and the back door's open ... and I can't get up to close it because that would upset her.)

Phoebe and Daisy have the grandest cushions and blankets to recline on Catsmere! What a lovely dear face Socks has Papergirl1968!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/01/2024 13:31

I'm a bit puzzled. Lenny has sat down on my lap, purred his head off and curled up to sleep. For any of the other three cats this is normal behaviour, but Lenny is NOT a lap cat.

I want to know what he's plotting...

He's been looking at this thread and he knows that you've posted pictures of him looking.............. stern.
So he wants to redress the balance.
