Sybil has failed the elegance test this morning. Having finished one bowl of porridge she took the shortest route to the second bowl by standing in the first one. Awaiting a line of porridge footprints through the house.

Grumpy, there's hardly any porridge in the bowl Sybil is standing in though. I think if she does trail porridge footprints throughout the house, you should take a picture and show us. Your capabilities as a photographer are world-renowned.

If I was trying to take such a picture, it would be next week before I managed it, and Mr SB would have done the floors, thus removing the evidence.

And talking of Mr SB, I mentioned the debacle of Sybil and the porridge to him, and he looked puzzled and asked me where you buy cat porridge.

just back from visiting Annie's new girls. And what lovely girls they are too!

Izzy spent the first half of my visit wandering about and having a good look at me, with the occasional catnip mouse slaughtering interlude, and the second half crashed out on the chair which she has claimed as hers. Thrifty spent almost the entire time crashed out behind said chair, only emerging for the half-time Mackerel fillet I had brought round for them (deftly portioned out by Annie's DS). Looks like we've found a winner when it's time for extra special treats, they loved it.

Think I may be visiting her a little more often now 😉
