I'm most impressed with your DS
DS1 was staying with us for a couple of nights this week. He didn't come bearing gifts but did manage to persuade Mrs Grumpy to drive him to Stanstead for a flight yesterday afternoon.
To be fair we both get on really well with DS1 (and his GF), but he's got a very subtle method of controlling us by being charming, good company and by being very polite (but subtly manipulative) when asking for a favour. 🤣.

I bet Leroy went halves on the chocolate, Yes. He knows you deserve them too. How lovely of dear DS, he’s such a winner.

Can't help feeling he's learnt how do do this by observing the cats...

DD can could always get me by doing the Pussycat Eyes (like in Shrek!). Me knowing this didn't help me to resist one iota.

Walter will adapt. Kitten is stunning. We are 5 days in with Lasagna and Canelloni and Rigatoni still have the odd moments of hiss. Lasagna still occasionally barges in too forcefully wanting to play. All those things are becoming shorter in duration and less frequent. Meanwhile DS is the official bed when he is downstairs and here is a bonus blep for you all.

You know I'm only half an hour away Queen!

So far, Benny has eaten, drunk, had a wee in the litter tray, played with a million cat toys, played with the kids, had cuddles with me, and had the zoomies. He's so confident! Walter has vacated the building after hissing at Benny a couple of times, but no swiping or bottle-brush tail. I'm sure he'll come around.

Oh Benny is wonderful, coastergirl. The photo of Lasagna is lovely too, pointythings. How old is he? He looked bigger in the cat tree photo than in the other ones you posted.

That's a seriously cute kitten. Particularly like the bitey pictures 😁.

The belly is definitely a trap with this one! I can't get over how confident he is.

Walter is really not happy at all.

It's always difficult to tell how an incumbent cat will cope with new arrivals. Basil was fine when Karl and Lenny turned up, Sybil rather less so.
Just be extra nice to Walter and he'll come round - just might take some time.
