Oh no! My nephew worked there years ago. That's a shame. The pier house is good too. My sister's friends used to have a place in Barnstaple called Velvet & Vanilla. That was lush when it was open, although nowhere beats Crabby Dicks, just cause of the name 😂

Crabbies is still there. Velvet and vanilla has gone I think it changed its name...

Plenty of lovely places to eat still 😊

Amazing stripes Coaster. Is he yours yet?

He's coming home next week, when I finish work for the summer. We can give him lots of attention and get him settled before September. He sounds like a real character. Very excited!

Currently staying with the parents for a couple of weeks and they have a lovely 6 month old with a tail like a squirrel’s!

Keep being sent pictures of my own from the cat prison cattery, who isn’t looking half so relaxed…

Hi - Linney is getting more tactile as the days go on. He spent about a week looking round the garden and staring out of the window. That seems to have stopped now and he's started to sleep in our room a lot more. He has also taken Emerald's favourite spot on the sofa and comes over to us to be stroked.
We still haven't received Emerald's ashes back and we're going to buy a plant pot for them.

I've thought about getting another cat but I think Linney needs to settle down more with us for now.
Emerald was always so vocal and the house is quiet without her.

I think Fred has been using my nail file to sharpen his claws. Either that or he thinks it's something to cuddle. Also a gratuitous photo of lovely pink toe beans

For no good reason at all I thought I'd share a picture of one of Karl's ridiculously hairy ears. 😹

They're so fluffy! I've been wondering if shady wants a companion...

It would be double the loveliness. Shady seems to have adapted so well to living with you and even accepting Paws that he might be happy to have a friend.

I always vote for more cats, but what if Shady and New Kitten gang up on Paws and he stops coming round? Isn't Paws the original Not My Cat? If so, he's the one who lured me into these threads, I'd miss the updates about Stinky Paws. Can't you just adopt/steal him instead 😁 OR get two more kittens, one to be friends with Shady and one to be friends with Paws!

Shady tried to play with stinky paws today by wiggling his bum and pouncing
Paws was "ew NO shady" and poor shady was sad

This one is fairly naughty. He's called Keith. He likes to chase his brother all through the house at the time of night we call 'Bastard Hour'. Sometimes he Andrex Puppies a whole toilet roll.

Fred looks like my Roy. Roy is a a tad more ginger.
