@RumNotRun he does, he just doesn't like it and isn't inside at night

Paws is still asleep. He's been here since 10pm Confused

Paws looks so sweet on that bed. I do remember when Ollie refused to move from that bed when there was a heatwave so it's actually been a good buy in terms of cost.

Maple2023 · 05/04/2023 14:56

Ollie hasn't touched it for months now. Obviously, it's cold weather so why would he Grin

YesItsMeIDontCare · 05/04/2023 18:30

What the hell difference does it make to the driver if you've got a cat with you?

I was told it was due to allergies, but that it was OK to just let the drivers know so they could decline the job if they wanted to.

Supersimkin2 · 05/04/2023 19:08

I did toddler care today for 19 infants, in error. Not My Children at the volunteering place.

Self portrait showing sincere, caring smile worn throughout.

Oh brave, Lana! 19 cats would definitely have been easier! 😂

3 nights in a row...

Supersimkin2 · 05/04/2023 21:54

He loves you.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 05/04/2023 22:26

Paws might not be your cat Maple, but you are definitely his mama 🥰

How on earth do you take on 19 infants in error Super? I would have feigned illness at that... and I work in a school! Hope Prince is giving you lots of love.

RumNotRun · 05/04/2023 23:16

@Maple2023 he clearly loves you (and his new bed) in that photo.

19 toddlers? That sounds like hell. You deserve a medal!

Tiny2018 · 05/04/2023 23:21

Yes, Pumpkin would be right at home with a palm leaf and some strawbs 😁

Dcat4 aka the grey kitten woke me up from my nap today my licking my ear and biting my earring. He then decided he wanted under the duvet for a cuddle, he gets all snuggles in then 10 minutes later decides he is too warm and wants back out and goes and sleeps at my feet. DCat3 aka the black panther like to have a good old paddy paw on me before using me as his bed. All the while the 7 stone dog who has serious attachment issues has her head on me. They like to terrorise her by giving her head bumps or worse still trying to cuddle to to her.

on a serious not DCat1 and 2 are fatties 7lbs each, DCat1 being a boy carries it a wee bit better than his sister but both are well fat. The two of them are first to the bowls and last to leave. I’ve tried to cut them back DCat 1 is protesting like mad. I currently feed them Meowing Heads Fat Cat Slim Dry plus 3 tins of Applaws Tuna between the 4 of them in the morning (I like to give done wet food because I have 3 neutered boys) it’s so difficult to restrict 2 cats intake of food when you have 2 skinnies who like to graze. I even thought about those restrictive feeder bowls at £170 a pop for my skinny cats

headache · 05/04/2023 23:50

Sorry forgot a photo two fatties with grey kitten in the middle

Saw this so funny cats being cats, love the way the Iman just carried on with prayers making no attempt to remove the cat

Excellent link Grumpy. The Dean of Canterbury had a similar experience during lockdown with Leo who has since become quite a video star:

I think it was YetAnotherSpartacus or maybe Allergic who posted this originally. I definitely saw it first here anyway.

Papergirl1968 · 06/04/2023 10:30

Those are gorgeous kitties, @headache and 7lbs isn't too bad (looks at Fat Matt who is getting on for probably twice that)

YesItsMeIDontCare · 06/04/2023 11:48

7lbs @headache? 😂 Leroy is 7kg!

Hive them a li'l butt scritch from me 🥰

YetAnotherSpartacus · 06/04/2023 12:42

Boycat was close to that, just over 6kg, until he got ill. And he wasn't a fatty by any means, long & slender build.

NewBootsAndRanty · 06/04/2023 18:44

4.1kg of (muddy) cat here.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 06/04/2023 19:05

Puddy has woken me up two nights running making the chirruping sound and climbing over my legs.

Asbo would’ve been swiftly removed to the kitchen but she’s old so I have to ignore it.

Im wearing earplugs tonight.

headache · 06/04/2023 23:35

Sorry I meant 7kgs not 7lbs he wishes he was 7lbs didn’t stop him jumping out a window tonight then deciding it was too cold so he just howled to get back in because he’s too fat to jump back in. He’s a typical ginger Tom a lover not a fighter. Such a laid back placid cat.

I’m not sure about a typical moggie being 4kg, the mini black panther is 5kg and there is not an Oz of fat on him, he is sleek perfection and he knows it. Grey kitten is 4kg but he’s just over a year old so got some filling out to go yet.

Allergictoironing · 07/04/2023 09:57

Definitely having progress with Tobias.

Found his new lurking spot night before last. Went upstairs to bed, Girlcat had been downstairs with me all evening. Noticed Tobias wasn't in his room, went into mine & went to look out of the window last thing as I normally do, and realised he was on the windowsill behind the curtains. Got in to bed & noticed the bed was nice and warm at one spot near where my feet go, so he must have been lying there before he heard me come up.

Then I went to work late yesterday, went up to my room to get something & saw Girlcat calmly sitting in the middle of the windowsill - with Tobias lying calmly beghind the curtain, so definite social interaction going on there.

Then last night I went up to find him lying on my bed! He watched me carefully, but didn't move until I moved my hand close to put a couple of Dreamies down.

I have also managed to very briefly touch his paw twice, his cheek once and the top of his head once in the last few days with no hissing. Yes he will draw away once the touch has happened, but massive progress.

He's also obviously on the rampage downstairs at night time & possibly during the day too. Hallway has laminate flooring, then there's a mat by the front door. I come down every day now to find the mat has been pushed right up against the door so it's riding up the door itself by a few inches - this never used to happen until he arrived so must be him not Girlcat.

We definitely have some teeny tiny adult cats on here. My DCat2 is 2.8kg and looks like a teenage kitten despite being 17 years old. Caused some consternation last year when she was poorly and went to 2.4kg.

Her sister is just under 4kg

I thinkOllie is another team teeny isn't he @Maple2023 ?
