Vixen has become very clingy over the last few days. She likes to sleep on top of me with her face almost touching my ear. The photo is her when she first lay down, she then kept subtly moving up until I could feel her breath on my face.

I love her and I love cuddling time but jeez, she is too hot for this weather and a cat snoring and purring is surprisingly loud when it's in your ear!

So DH came into the sitting room this morning and found four cats asleep in there.

Opened the door this morning to let the cats in, and a (very cute) mouse ran inside instead. While trying to catch it, it vanished completely.
I'm now in trouble for telling Mrs Grumpy about it. Apparently she'd really rather not know.

With 4 cats , should be straightforward...

This is far from the first time this has happened. Trouble is one if the bloody silly cats obviously decided to leave a live mouse on the doorstep.
But yes, lesson learnt - in future don't mention to Mrs Grumpy.

More plotting afoot in the garden today, this time between Squidge and Shadow (who is getting more adventurous by the day)..

Sadly no pic as my phone was in the study, but Tobias came down and sat on the living room windowsill this evening for a good 10 minutes. Obviously I couldn't get up to fetch my phone, as that would have sent him dashing upstairs. But he knew I was in there (I was talking gently to him & Girlcat) and he still stayed there for a bit.

Also, at supper time a little beforehand he only retreated to about a foot away from his feeding station when I came up to replace his morning bowl with the evening one - VERY bold for him 😀
