He scratched at the sofa so I showed him the scratch post and now he uses that

The vet was so please with Emerald's weight loss.

Emerald herself has started moving around a lot more now she's lost 1000g.

Here she is on the bench which is the other side of our housing complex. I followed her to see how far she'd go.

So we gave Sybil a dose of gabapentin this morning and took her to the vet for de-matting.
She's now back, looking a bit bald round her back end and behaving like a very drunk cat. Vet said she behaved beautifully and even tried to chat up a male cat who was in at the same time. 😻.
£150 lighter (including the drugs)
Seeing how relaxed and amenable it's made her I might try and get some on the black market to slip to TC (JOKING!!)

He came in again today so I put shady in the hallway and left the door open a crack. Rubbed the happy kitty blanket all over paws nearly lost a limb and I've given that to shady. Who promptly sat on it
