@Papergirl1968 pretty sure mine would wear a crown like that quite happily 🤣🤣

Cotswoldmama · 27/03/2023 19:00

Here's my beautiful old lady Thomasina. Named after the book Thomasina - the cat that thought she was god! There's also a Disney film based on the book called The three lives of Thomasina

Keith is felling very well, however he would like to note that it should not be sleeting now that it is British Summer Time and he is under this blanket under duress

I have a Keith too! Here is my Keith, looking very panther-like whilst waiting for his adoring subjects to dish out snuggles and treats.

Night 3, more progress.

The light was still on in my room when Tobias started to sing the song of his people. By the time the light was out, he was definitely on the move in the hallway - Gods only know what he was scrabbling at! I then realised that he was exploring the far reaches of MY bedroom. He shot out when he heard me move, but a sort of fast trot rather than a full scale bolt.

He was also observed on his bed this morning when I woke up, though he slunk into the igloo when he realised I could see him..

So definite progress. Though I wish he hadn't been yelling until about 12:30am!

Wonder who made all this mess

Oh well done, Tobias. He is getting brave!
I'm currently being painfully kneaded by Matt. I think he's decided that if he sticks to me like glue he won't get accidentally shut in rooms any more - the garage once and a bedroom twice in the last few days.

TheShellBeach · 28/03/2023 11:53

Ooh Tobias. You're getting very feisty.
Excellent progress, Allergic.

Supersimkin2 · 28/03/2023 12:03

Little Paws, so at home now. He’s loving it.

Well done Matt and Tobias. Some caterwauling only to be expected. Paper you should be resting, Matt nursing you.

Paws is now hanging out with me while I work Confused
And had a drink for the first time ever Confused
I think he's broken

Supersimkin2 · 28/03/2023 12:34

🍹

lovely. Prince bought me a huge beetle for breakfast.

Papergirl1968 · 28/03/2023 13:02

Think it's the other way round, Lana, and Matt thinks that if he kneads me for long enough, I might nurse him! He'll have to be satisfied with the dregs of milk left in the bottom of the cereal bowl...😂
I hope you were duly appreciative of Prince's gift. He luffs you. 😻

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 28/03/2023 14:23

Most impressed with Tobias's late night forays into the rest of the house. All sounds very good progress and no cat fighting by the sounds of it. Might there be some new Tobias photos at some point?

RumNotRun · 28/03/2023 18:07

Fred is feeling sorry for himself as he has a war wound from wrestling with Toad and Ghostie. Toad is unrepentant and I think secretly proud of himself.

No new pics of Tobias. At the first hint anyone is going near his room, he slithers into the Igloo then looks out trying to persuade you he hasn't moved out of it for days. So I can take a pic, but it will look exactly like the first one of him in there.

I love Wilbur's expression ThatShallotBaby. He looks as if he thinks he is very brave but also bemused why you want to immerse yourself in water.

How brilliant that Paws is so settled with you Rebel2.

Excellent progress from Tobias Allergic.

Hope Fred's ear is better soon RumNotRun.

How are you feeling Papergirl1968?

Allergictoironing · 28/03/2023 20:13

Massive step forwards just now.

Was sitting on the sofa ministering to Girlcat's need for tummy scritches when she suddenly stood up. I looked just in time to see a tabby and white figure sneak through the door & go behind where I was sitting. She followed and vanished for a few minutes before returning to sit in guard position on the back of the sofa. All this was carried out in perfect silence.

I THINK he's gone upstairs again. I didn't move or even look away from the TV so he could have sneaked out again without me seeing him - he isn't currently behind the sofa, though there are plenty of other hiding places in that room.

Or maybe not - there are some quizzical little noises coming from the living room (I'm in the study). There may be another update later at this rate!

Further update:

Returned to living room to spot Tobias under a dining chair, playing with the shoe lace tied to it (Girlcat's toy). He stayed there quite a few minutes while I watched from the other end of the room & Girlcat stared in fascination (no growls, hisses, sticky up hair, just interest). He then sauntered across to have a sniff at her food, water & cat grass station, then a sniff at a discarded Molly's Mouse, before trotting gently out & up the stairs.

When I went to feed him just now, he was back in the Igloo pretending he'd never been out of it of course.

Excellent progress! Well done Tobias.

I'm a bit in love with Wilbur. Don't tell Walter.
