Thug cat part 5 - For he will not do destruction, if he is well-fed, neither will he spit without provocation.

Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.
For any one daft enough, here are the last 4000 posts about him
thread1
thread2
thread3
thread4
For anyone far too sensible to trawl through the above threads, here are a few of his photographic highlights. And yes, the last one is him on my kitchen table...

We can always buy you a new phone…

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/04/2023 11:42

Wait until they see that new TC clause in your will
😁
I'm more invested in who gets the magnificent coffee machine.

Florissante · 20/04/2023 13:53

Happy cativersary, Grumpy! Long may this thread continue.

Didicat · 20/04/2023 23:24

wait a minute and update without a photo of T.C ???? Surely the previous 4 years have taught you we are here for photos of Our handsome T.C

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/04/2023 13:22

Cat chess taking place this morning (and yes I know the patio is a disgrace...)

TC is now just making himself comfortable under our chairs while Basil and Sybil look on

Basil is a third wheel I suspect.

Florissant · 29/04/2023 15:04

That is a magnificent photo of TC.

Defiantlynot41 · 29/04/2023 15:27

What percentage of your phones memory is taken up by TC photos Grumpy? (I won't ask about cat photos in total because that's obviously close to 100% as per most of us on this thread).

Most of it 🤣.
And to illustrate it - this was TC's attempt to break in shortly after the previous photos. When I politely declined, he hissed and swiped me. He REALLY doesn't like the word 'No'.

TC, behave!

CassandraCross · 29/04/2023 17:53

That's a very relaxed Basil!

I like the way TC has his arm looped over the chair to prevent anyone removing the chair.

Supersimkin2 · 29/04/2023 17:59

Maverick with a heart of gold who
always gets the gal, Grumpy.

PollyCreo · 29/04/2023 21:00

Can we guess at TC's real name?

I still reckon it's Adolf....

That's the classic 'how to spot a narcissist' - say no to them! 🤭

Cattila the Hun?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/04/2023 09:54

I think it's clear that after 4 years and 4200 posts I'm obviously the most useless person in the world to ask for advice about keeping neighbourhood cats at bay 😹.
Worst comes to the worst you could take lots of photos, (filling your phone memory) and post at length about his exploits on MN.

OP posts:
Florissant · 30/04/2023 10:15

You say that like it's a bad thing, Grumpy! MN would be a poorer place without the ongoing Saga of the Stripey Domestic Would-be Terrorist.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 02/05/2023 19:48

Mrs Grumpy and I were just relaxing watching the telly when there was a very noisy cat chase through the living room and out of the door.
TC chased out of the house by a hissing Sybil 🙀.
He'd come in unnoticed, gone into the kitchen and troughed all the cat food, at which point Sybil noticed and chased him out. (Exit pursued by a bear Sybil?)
He's now outside the (closed) doors licking his lips.
The boys are now giving him dirty looks from inside. It hasn't gone unnoticed that it was only Sybil who actually did something about him...

OP posts:
Ellmau · 02/05/2023 20:26

To be fair, Sybil is probably the only one who could get away with seeing him off.

CassandraCross · 02/05/2023 20:43

Of course, the boys can make the noise but Sybil will take the action required!

Florissante · 03/05/2023 16:43

Sybil has always struck me as a 'take no prisoners' type.

Allergictoironing · 03/05/2023 18:36

Probably put his courting back a bit by doing that - no girl likes a guy to eat all her food!

Supersimkin2 · 03/05/2023 19:13

Very saddened to hear NDN starving a little helpless cat.
