Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.
For any one daft enough, here are the last 4000 posts about him

I was playing with TC earlier on our front drive. Unfortunately I think this may have revealed his true nature. 🙀

Clearly he's desperately trying to pull you closer, via the stick, so that he can show you how much he loves you. The adoration and innocence in his little face is obvious 😁

I was lying on my bed playing on my phone earlier and noticed Toad looking very interested in something on the floor. I went to have a closer look, the idiot was playing catch with a ginormous wasp (possibly a hornet?) The wasp was dying so I dropped a book on it to finish it off. I went to get some toilet paper to pick the wasp up with but in the meantime Toad had pushed the book off his "prize" somehow and taken it on to the landing to snack on. Idiot. I am now in his bad books for taking his prize away. He ignores the flies I am plagued by every year, but tries to eat the thing that could end him up having to have a trip to the vet.

Brilliant photo Grumpy, worthy of a wildlife program. But you can see TC is only playing - teeth aren't fully bared and I can't see mahoosive raptor-like claws fully extended.

Lenny is on a chair growling. TC is rolling about on the table top above him completely ignoring him.

Could be worse, our girl runs under the bed if she sees a house fly. I have to feed her under the bed till she comes out.

I couldn't help noticing that I started TC's first thread (before he was even known as TC 🙀) four years ago today.

For those of you with a statistical bent I have created 973 posts (roughly two every three days) excluding posts when he gets a mention outside his own threads. I dread to think how many photos I've posted, but my phone has reached its data capacity limit.
My children think I'm mad. I think I may be slightly obsessed 🤣.
