Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.
For any one daft enough, here are the last 4000 posts about him

I worry that this thread has veered off into a TC admiration site. Please try to remember that the 'T' stands for THUG.
He is not a cute little pussy cat at all - he has just gaslit his dad to do his bidding.
I also have strong suspicions that the glowing character references 'apparently' posted by my NDN are probably written by TC himself!
Come to think of it - I haven't seen NDN for s few days 🙀.
TC is a Machiavellian genius & he puts Sun Tzu to shame with his siege tactics,

Just to keep you updated, he's 4.7kg and perfect. He's finally lost 0.5kg since April. Perfect

He's tiny! That's the size of my little girl. My boy is pushing 9kg and I imagined that TC would be at least 7kg.

TC doesn't just gaslight your NDN, Grumpy. He manages to make us all believe he is a playful little kitty who just wants to visit the house next door. Deep down, I suspect he is really like the Tiger from Riga in Edward Lear's limerick.

Life would be more boring if we couldn't read about his exploits though!

Oh....I assumed TC meant THAT CAT!! said in an exasperated tone. Or even Top Cat as he is the boss of all he surveys. The thought never crossed my mind you meant thug. No. I don't believe it. He's just starving and doing what any kitty would do in those circumstances. *wanders away muttering darkly

I was about to reply saying he can't be a thug because he's too teeny tiny but then I realised I was getting kg and lb mixed up! Having now googled, I have realised that he really is perfect and about average for a cat. Well done TC!!
