Thug cat part 5 - For he will not do destruction, if he is well-fed, neither will he spit without provocation.

Christopher Smart had clearly never met TC.
Due to popular demand (and a fear of lynching by the denizens of Mumsnet if I failed to comply) please find enclosed the 5th (🙀) thread about my NDN's cat.
For any new arrivals to this thread, TC is a stripy thug who spends most of his waking hours trying to break into our house. He doesn't get on with our cats (with the possible exception of Sybil, but only if she's in the mood). He currently is at war with Lenny.
He occasionally behaves like a perfect gentleman, his more normal MO however is to be a hissing spitting ball of teeth and claws.
For any one daft enough, here are the last 4000 posts about him
thread1
thread2

thread4
For anyone far too sensible to trawl through the above threads, here are a few of his photographic highlights. And yes, the last one is him on my kitchen table...

There's a photo of baby TC in a teacup (IIRC) which is up there with Cats in Bonnets as a Litter Tray classic for all time

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/07/2023 11:55

Actually TC in a dogfood bowl 🤣.

And speaking of TC's doggy companions.

Opened the front door the morning and NDN's sandy coloured dog belted past me, straight into the house and up the stairs, much to the surprise of Karl who was trying to come in at the same time 🤣.
She's become an escape artist, who can exit NDN's garden at the drop of a hat. Schrödinger's dog perhaps? I bet TC has put her up to it...

You say "NDN's sandy coloured dog" but TC simply thinks of it as his minion.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/07/2023 12:06

Photo of very cute housebreaking dog previously plotting with TC.

TC and that dog are like one of those criminal duos - the brains behind the operation and the hapless sidekick who always gets caught.

MsSupineLickspittle · 29/07/2023 14:04

I take back my minion and am now saying henchman.

Florissante · 29/07/2023 14:50

I wonder how much of an arm you would have left if you tried to pet that enticing belly.

And if the paramedics would be able to staunch the blood flow from said wound.

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 29/07/2023 14:54

My bengal let us pet the belly. He was naturally gifted and talented though.

Supersimkin2 · 29/07/2023 21:37

Tiny TC - be still, my beating heart.

I defy either Napoleon or Alexander the Great to come up with a succesful Belly Strategy. Was it Patton who won Battle of the Bulge?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/07/2023 23:41

TC is outside the front door. Sybil will not come in 🙀. Karl has just legged it back outside as well.
Sod the lot of them. I'm off to bed. Sybil and Karl can both stay out until morning.
Why is the one cat I don't want in at night, the only one who makes any effort to come when I call mine in?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 29/07/2023 23:48

And now Lenny has also escaped but had to get past TC...
Night all!

Is everyone back, @Grumpyoldpersonwithcats ?

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 30/07/2023 09:20

Yes - I nipped downstairs at 6.00 and opened the front door to be stormed by three cats (no TC) demanding breakfast with menaces.

Craftybodger · 30/07/2023 10:39

Spending to much time in the proximity of TC, his attitude is rubbing off!

TCsDad · 02/08/2023 07:45

Looks like TC had a pigeon for breakfast this morning which got snatched by the kite or Grumpys cats, as he's asking for breakfast.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/08/2023 09:22

TC can't manage a pigeon and breakfast?

FormerlyPathologicallyHappy · 02/08/2023 13:20

I blamed asbo for a dead birdie once then we saw a buzzard kill mrs blackbird on the lawn.

So it was definitely the Buzzard in the garden with the long talons & not the little cat.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/08/2023 08:08

There is almost peace breaking out this morning on our drive between TC and Basil.
Might be helped by the fact that we are minding NDN's animals for a few days. TC knows not to bite the hand that feeds him too often.

TC has been barricading the patio doors for most of the evening, but he's now wandered down to the bottom of the garden for a photo opportunity 🤣.

Just to keep you updated, he's 4.7kg and perfect. He's finally lost 0.5kg since April. Perfect

Pixiedust1234 · 15/08/2023 19:56

I'm amazed at how many photos you have of him yawning...or is he showing you how empty his poor tummy is?

His dad has just confirmed the poor baby is starving away to nothingness 😿

Just trying to shame TC's dad to feed him more 🤣

  • Actually he just yawns at me a lot 😹

Beautiful photos of TC ❤️ and delighted to hear of his Slimming cat World success, did he get a sticker?

MsSupineLickspittle · 15/08/2023 20:27

Whar big teeth he has!

I am very surprised about the weight. My lad is about 5.5kg and only 60% of the size of our neighbourhood bengal monster, who frequently ravages him (not in a good way).
