Sorry Yes - the virginity one is 🤮 🤮 .

The Royal Family surround themselves with dogs Grumpy. Not as leaky as cats, they reckon.

And therein lies the problem. If the Royal Family had cats rather than dogs they'd obviously

  1. be much more civilised, and
  2. know their place and not have ideas above their station 😹

Absolutely.

No royal would have time for a punchup by the pet bowls - they’d be too busy spooning foie gras into it.

Supersimkin2 · 07/01/2023 09:12

Got woken from a delicious warm slumber by Prince who was snoring on my shoulder. Once he wakes up, he rubs my face with his furry cheek, most lovely.

Then sticks his tongue in my ear.

I've had the anti viral rebound and am positive for covid again (with more symptoms)
Even Ollie is looking pissed off at me

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 07/01/2023 12:11

Soory to hear you are suffering with covid again Pelo. Hope it clears up quickly.
Here's a picture of Karl to send positive vibes.

Hope it's not a very bad bout Pelo.

I have had to sneak away to get on the PC. Since starting back at work this week, Boycat has been most unhappy. He finally stopped following me round the house crying as I got ready for work yesterday, and instead stomped upstairs in a huff.

He's taken to waiting staring out of the window for me to come home at night, then I have to pay attention all evening.

Defiantlynot41 · 07/01/2023 13:05

Hope you feel better soon Pelo, that gorgeous picture of Karl would cheer anyone up.

Aww, Allergic ... can anyone verify that he actually waits in the window all the time? The reason I ask is that my Mum worked very odd hours, never the same two days running, and different length of shift each day , and the cat was always sitting in the front window waiting for her when she got home. We always thought that she just sat and waited whilst Mum was out but I was at home ill one week and discovered that the cat went to sit on the windowsill about 15 mins before Mum got home - every time!

Allergictoironing · 07/01/2023 13:11

No verification possible. I've been getting in round about the same time each day though (6pm ish), and Boycat really doesn't have the brains to do anything smart, so I reckon he's getting up there when it gets dark.

But I've heard plenty of stories about dogs doing similar to your mum's cat.

RumNotRun · 07/01/2023 19:50

One of my cats used to somehow always know when my ex was on his way back, even when ex was walking so no car noise to give a hint. The cat would go and wait by the door then a few moments later, I'd hear my gate.

Poor Fred somehow hurt his paw on Thursday night. He was limping yesterday and holding it up when he was sitting down. Thankfully today it is much better, clearly thanks to the copious cuddles and scritches he has demanded when I've been lying in bed.

Welcome Ludo Bunch @Ludo19! They all clearly know they're gorgeous... would you like to tell us a bit more about them?

Supersimkin2 · 07/01/2023 23:17

Exquisite @Ludo19 . More pix and press bio for each would be highly appreciated.

Ludo19 · 07/01/2023 23:47

I have 8 cats ranging from almost 15 yrs old down to my youngest at 7 months.
The ones I have pictured are my lilac/blue ragdoll kitten and my 9 month old chinchilla kitten. Then the twins who are 18 months and are my flame point raggies. The handsome chap at the window is (I think as he was a rescue) 14 and has asthma. I have another persian and ragdoll and a large tuxedo chap. I didn't want to hog the thread with photos.

@YesItsMeIDontCare oh my god he's so handsome, does he have a wee white patch on his chest by any chance? I love a big fluff ball. Bet he gives the best cuddles.

Ludo19 · 08/01/2023 00:09

@YesItsMeIDontCare Have another one of Malo, he's the baby of the family

No white patch - a single white hair in his tail. He does look very coppery in sunlight though.

Ludo19 · 08/01/2023 00:18

He's outstanding, a very beautiful 😍 boy

cheeseybeans19 · 08/01/2023 08:21

So many beautiful cats 😍 here are my two, Monty and Murphy. They will be 6 months old on the 21st of this month. @Ludo19 I love those beds on the wall, do you mind me asking where they are from?

@cheeseybeans19 Hi, your boys are adorable, I love seeing your photos. Gino is big now too and neutered. It's my first Chinchilla and he's a purr monster.

The beds are from zooplus do you want me to send you a link? They come with the pad colour of your choice but they're limited. Also on ebay there's a seller who can make the pads to suit your decor. I think zooplus do them in cream and burgundy, plus they've a sale on.

I also painted mine to blend in with the wall.

cheeseybeans19 · 08/01/2023 08:53

@Ludo19 thank you! Going to order them now. Gino and Murphy could be twins, just gorgeous. I can’t believe how much they’ve grown when I look back over photos, they were neutered last Thursday. Poor Monty was absolutely terrified when I went to pick them up, he was shaking all the way home. Whereas Murphy, well nothing bothers him 😂 how did Gino recover? I was worried about the boys as they kept licking at the site for the first day or so, but they’re fine now.
