I started a new thread for all of Peppas adoring fans and probably soon to be Bingo's too.

@Mondaymorningquaterback yes bingo will be joining our family on Tuesday all being well on the neutering going forward. I have no photos of Bingo as in my sheer excitement to go see the fluff balls at cat protection I left my phone in the car

@Words he's all black with one white leg but he's slightly long haired. He was one of seven but he had bad cat flu shortly after being put up for adoption and his litter mates went as pairs so he was left.

Peppa just sneezed and all his fur stuck up and he hissed. Yes yes very ferocious

I am not looking forward to these photos next week. No. Not even a little bit.

Mine had cat flu before I adopted him and like a pp said about hers on the last thread, he can be a bit wheezy and sniffly in the winter, but nothing serious.

Get advice about introducing them. I've never introduced a non sibling kitten to another. Mine have all been young adults introduced to older cats, and I have done it gradually. I imagine the younger they are the easier it is, but dunno.

With cats there is always more to learn!

Its so lovely you’re getting him a brother. I’ve got two rescue boy kittens. They have their scrappy moments but mostly they’re really tender with each other and seeing them cuddled up snoozing together will never fail to warm your cockles! Can’t wait to see pics of Bingo

Yep good advice from @Words, I too have only introduced kittens to older cats (my boys are siblings). Cats Protection will guide you on how to introduce them. Loads of videos on You Tube too, I watched the Cats Protection ones on there as well as others like Jackson Galaxy

I haven't introduced kittens to kittens either, but I guess it's the same as any other introduction...cat to cat, cat to dog...

They both their own safe space where they have time out from each other. And everything you've done for peppa you should do for Bingo...so another litter and cat house (hope you've space!) Or you can just keep bingo in a separate room if you have one. Putting a baby gate in the doorway will help them adjust to each other safely. Although peppa is definitely still small enough to get through the bars!

CPL will advise I am sure. Generally I bring the incomer in and house in the spare room, allow them to sniff each other under the door for a few days, or longer if things get heated, then take things from there. Maybe kittens you can be a bit more relaxed with maybe?

So we have 2 litter boxes and a spare one upstairs. So like living in a giant toilet right now
Cats protection suggested feliway? So we have a plug in upstairs and downstairs. My toddler keeps sniffing the spray we got so If it makes her calm ill let you all know.
I have a blanket from Bingo which I've given to Peppa who keeps sniffing it. And husband is going to drop off Peppas slightly chewed blanket tomorrow to cats protection to stick in with Bingo.

We will see how it goes.

Plenty of food. Vet suggested James wellbeloved so both cats will be on that. My toddler likes it so maybe the kittens will. Peppa is booked in fot neutering at 5 months so be January to February time.

We've been fostering two boy kittens for the last few weeks. Yesterday we had to take in a girl kitten at short notice. We had her in a crate for the day. The current boy fosters went straight up to her chirruping as if she was a sibling! No aggression or hissing.

I hope Peppa is equally as welcoming.

I think it will work out, OP. There might be a little hissing and grumbling at first but they are both kittens and the urge to play and pounce will win out. I doubt it will be long before they’re snuggling up for naps.

I remember sampling the cat's biscuits at a similar age... it never did me any harm. It might explain my crazy cat lady existence now. I do remember the meaty flavour, a bit like Bovril.
