We were out of space so I thought I'd do the honours

Exactly.

Allergictoironing · 02/10/2022 17:00

Mine are very low risk, being indoors 24/7, but I still get them jabbed at their annual MoTs

We've all been there Havelock 🫢

YetAnotherSpartacus · 03/10/2022 12:47

Havelock is certainly a character!

Subterfuge got one leg into bed. Fleece duvet cover has triggered issues with the second leg.

One of our allies needs counselling.
Counselling done. 👍
And here is a photo of Sybil - simply because I think she's lovely 😁

Sybil is a true beauty.

’Rounding up 6 cats. It’s a big job’ 🤣 Poor OP’s pathetic protests in the face of her very merry very disobedient gang.

Very reassured by MNetters who can see cats are living life of Riley and are Not Being Helpful In Spirit of Site to exhausted OP. Including me.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/10/2022 16:09

I can well believe that rounding up 6 cats is tricky. Even 4 can be bloody hard 🤣.
Ours are supposed to be kept out of the living room at night. Last night Mrs Grumpy came to bed later than me, and claims she had checked that nobody was in the living room before closing the door. This morning - no sign of Sybil. Found her curled up asleep on the living room sofa...

coastergirl · 04/10/2022 18:36

Sybil is so beautiful

I love the way Sybil is doing the "model" pose, with one front leg slightly across the other & pointing outwards. Thanks for the pic Grumpy, love Sybil

PeloFondo · 04/10/2022 23:09

My dad rang me tonight, I put him on speaker phone
Ollie (he's never done this before) woke up, ran to me and starting purring and head butting the phone Confused
Told dad he will have to visit him soon!

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/10/2022 11:16

Knocked the neighbour up to check the cat on her doorstep isn’t stray, it’s not. Poor woman.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 05/10/2022 11:31

Well I'm in for a good day today.

Leroy has woken up and made it perfectly clear that he is disgusted with the weather which is entirely my fault.
I opened the back door so he could see it's raining out there as well as out the windows and the li'l fucker bit my calf as he stalked back to sit on the stairs. If looks could kill he wouldn't have needed the bite.

I've got another 6 months of this shit 🙄

HouseofHolbein · 05/10/2022 11:35

Morticia zipped out of the front door when I put rubbish out earlier. It's raining. She's sitting under the car sulking and won't come in 🤷‍♀️

Supersimkin2 · 05/10/2022 14:06

🤣

PeloFondo · 05/10/2022 14:11

@YesItsMeIDontCare I'll send you Ollie? He wants to go in and out in the rain constantly but you have to towel dry him every time (he sits happily purring)

YesItsMeIDontCare · 05/10/2022 15:33

We could organise an exchange visit Pelo! That would actually be hysterically funny... 🤣

I can do towelling, I used to wrap DS up in his li'l hooded towel and cuddle him dry when he was teeny tiny. Leroy would have my face off.

PeloFondo · 05/10/2022 15:56

Grin he loves being wrapped up and dried off

He's currently got an itch on his side that he keeps scratching like a dog (can't see anything) and with the moulting too.. my carpet is a sea of black fur

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/10/2022 16:50

Leroy is slipping, no major vessels in the back of the calf. He needs inside the ankle or top of thigh for maximum carnage.

PeloFondo · 06/10/2022 11:13

Woke up to Ollie having been sick. He yelled at me and vanished outside and hasn't been home for 2hrs Sad not even had breakfast

I'm trying not to worry as he wasn't silent and moping which is what he does when he's ill but still... bloody cat

YesItsMeIDontCare · 06/10/2022 11:57

I don't know what it's like round your way Pelo, but it's fresh and sunny here. Leroy has been out in the garden since 10:30(ish) so Ollie could well be making the most of the decent weather.

Cats are like kids. Yelling is generally preferable to silence 😁

PeloFondo · 06/10/2022 12:13

No sun and quite breezy here. I'm hoping he's sleeping off the sickness in a hedge

PeloFondo · 06/10/2022 12:34

He's just skulked in after 3hrs, yelled at me and gone to his teepee
