Oh dear. Poor boy must’ve been in a lot of pain with the infection Sad

I bet it was the grey cat.

Supersimkin2 · 04/03/2022 17:19

Best love to Karl - poor brave baby!!! Awful grey Putin cat, I bet. 💐

Supersimkin2 · 04/03/2022 17:26

Nemo is glowing- I love the gold of the sun through a ginger cat’s fur. The sun looks so much more sunny. Pure magic.

Well done Allergic and Boycat.

Here’s hoping for a peaceful weekend for us all.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/03/2022 17:26

I’m picturing Karl twirling around the surgery like a ballerina after an espresso & doing back flips while you explain he can’t weight bear.

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/03/2022 18:46

In a Tutu obv because you have to dress the part.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 04/03/2022 19:07

Yes. Mrs Grumpy saw the grey and white cat yesterday and all the cats were very out of sorts last night, so the fight must have been last night, but we only noticed Karl's limp this morning. Bites were on his back leg.
I've suggested to NDN that we get TC to run some cat assertiveness training for Karl. 😼

Fluffycloudland77 · 04/03/2022 20:10

Or tell him to do his job better. An interloper getting onto TC territory?

It took two years for cats round here to venture out after my Bertie died.

Last time Ollie hurt his leg I was "walk for the nice vet" He curled up like a pretzel and refused to move Hmm
coastergirl · 04/03/2022 21:45

Both my boys came down with what appears to be norovirus within an hour of each other tonight. I'm a single parent. This is not good.

pawpaws2022 · 04/03/2022 22:22

Ugh. Noro is grim. You know when people say oh I had to run to the bathroom about ten times!
I moved into the bathroom with it Envy
After 48hrs it stopped, and I got flu. Fucking brilliant Grin I even got a GP home visit

coastergirl · 04/03/2022 22:25

I'm used to moving into the bathroom with my severe ibs (sorry tmi) but this is something else 🤮

Scared of getting it myself because my immune system is screwed at the moment.

Allergictoironing · 05/03/2022 08:41

Noro, & similar D&V, is one of the reasons why my DSis insisted on there being a second loo when she was looking for her current house. Her, at least one teen son, and occasional older sons staying in the same house. I totally got that, IMO there should be the same number of loos per person as there should be litter trays for cats!

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 05/03/2022 08:56

Hope not - we just have one large litter tray that they sometimes use at the same time. Grin

Allergictoironing · 05/03/2022 09:20

I said "should be litter trays", i.e the one per cat plus one that's recommended.

So 3 people living in a house, 4 loos Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 05/03/2022 09:48

Grumpy! Poor Lady Sybil - you don't make her share with four icky males, do you?

pawpaws2022 · 05/03/2022 10:16

Paws stayed until 6.30am. I got up to check on him twice and got a "fuck off, SLEEPING" look
6.30am he was sat patiently on the windowsill waiting for me to let him out

My three share one as well bless them 😊
Allergictoironing · 05/03/2022 11:10

Must admit that though they have had 2 trays since day 1, mine only ever go in one of them.

Papergirl1968 · 05/03/2022 11:13

We have a big downstairs one which is only used for the occasional poo - I'm talking litter trays not toilets here, by the way! And a small kitten-sized upstairs one which Matt squeezes his enormous bottom into but has to hover over with his paws on the floor outside the tray. Grin
I very rarely see or hear Socks using them. She's like a ghost cat. Likes to be out, comes in for food and the occasional daytime nap, spends the evenings upstairs on her own and then sleeps snuggled up to me all night.

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/03/2022 12:12

How is Karl today?

Dh gave Puddy double gloucester cheese last night, He'll never eat cheese alone again now after that. She didnt know cheese could taste so nice and will likely eschew plebby cheddar from now on. She was licking her lips for ages afterwards.

Supersimkin2 · 05/03/2022 12:28

Capn likes the mature cheddar from M&S. my neighbour eats it - he was busted this morning for standing outside her door mewing tragically for breakfast. He’s just had three.

PollyCreo · 05/03/2022 12:57

When Woody fell/jumped off a second floor balcony I rushed him to the vet, fearing his hind leg was shattered. He rolled around the table purring and making 😻 eyes at the vet while she examined him. Established leg wasn't broken, took him home for 'bed rest' where he promptly started running around on all four legs Hmm 🙄

coastergirl · 05/03/2022 19:19

I'm in Big Trouble. Tesco finally have their own brand pouches in gravy back in stock, so Walter is back on those. He is not impressed. After yelling at me for a considerable amount of time, he's now having a little taste.

pawpaws2022 · 05/03/2022 19:34

Date 2 done Smile short as he had to work so we just had an hour in between shifts
Ollie slept through it Hmm

coastergirl · 05/03/2022 21:04

Date sounds lovely!

Ahem. I may have news. But nothing is definite yet.

Hypothetically speaking, what name would you give this little lady? Something that goes with Walter would be nice.
