Capn had breakfast in bed, on a tray.

pawpaws2022 · 28/02/2022 14:20

Paws just trotted in the cat room, ground to a halt and looked in horror at the bike
Sorry paws

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/02/2022 14:25

You didn’t apply for planning permission did you?

Puddys gone to watch dh eat lunch. Asbo would sit on the table just far enough away for it not to be technically naughty but close enough to make it known that he also liked whatever dh was having.

pawpaws2022 · 28/02/2022 14:30

Apparently not. He refused catnip and flounced off

HouseofHolbein · 28/02/2022 14:31

Two of my three were waiting for me when I got in from work yesterday 😂😂

I’ve namechanged btw

What a welcome @HouseofHolbein

My 2 traitors are fighting to get in a cat bed bought for them by a friend. Yeah ... I know! They've rejected every cat bed/fleece/cushion I've ever bought, but this one ...

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/02/2022 20:23

Buy them another one so they can ignore them both in unison.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/03/2022 09:07

Sybil literally joined me for breakfast this morning. She loves Shreddies Grin.

Malty goodness! Capn was halfway through brekker when he saw a pigeon also enjoying cereals and rushed to murder.

They both flapped around for a bit, zero harm done, and Capn went for his nap.

pawpaws2022 · 01/03/2022 13:43

Never tried Ollie with shreddies
He's been outside all morning doing cat STUFF and has retired to his bed now, exhausted poor mite Grin

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/03/2022 15:08

Never tried Ollie with shreddies
Other breakfast cereals are available.
Puffed Wheat are particularly good value as they blow about when being eaten, and sometimes stick to the cat's nose Grin.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/03/2022 20:06

Does it have to be brand name or can you slip an aldi dupe in there?

pawpaws2022 · 01/03/2022 21:01

Ollie was in deep trouble today
He was across the road, sniffing and rolling in something in the middle of the car park
I marched across in my slippers to see what it was and he was HELP THIS IS NOT MY MAMA CALL THE RSPCA
Pretended he didn't know me and shot off Angry

YesItsMeIDontCare · 01/03/2022 21:39

Did you find out what he was rolling in paws?

pawpaws2022 · 01/03/2022 22:02

Not a clue! I couldn't see anything (it was on gravel) but he was glued to it 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

Want2beme · 01/03/2022 22:54

Here she is, The "Upstairs Cat", right on cue for her 1pm treats.

nettie434 · 02/03/2022 00:10

I laughed at you advising us of the name change HouseofHolbein. I'd recognise those stares anywhere Grin

TheLongRider · 02/03/2022 08:13

Here is your daily loaf.

Nemo is a cat who likes a predictable timetable. He has breakfast, then tucks himself up in a loaf next to the radiator for about 40 minutes. Then he goes out and does cat stuff until lunchtime. He pesters for food and then sleeps in a cat igloo between 3pm and 6pm. Then dinner and another nap in a different sleeping area for about three hours and finally a few hours hunting overnight. He likes to leave his rodent corpses neatly laid out under the swings. Not a bad life at all ...

Ollie, Paws, friends and family
Fluffycloudland77 · 02/03/2022 09:27

He looks a neat tidy boy doesn’t he? You wouldn’t find Nemo eviscerating a bunny rabbit in the middle of the lawn would you?

TheLongRider · 02/03/2022 09:35

Don't let his cute appearance deceive you. He likes torturing mice in the back garden. Ironically our cat called Mouse is usually the cat who goes out and dispatches them quickly. Nominative determinism in action.

Supersimkin2 · 02/03/2022 11:33

Nemo ruthlessly sweet. Cat timing is the best - I don’t need a clock in the home cos Capn.

pawpaws2022 · 02/03/2022 13:27
