I had a rather attractive policeman over earlier to take a statement about a scream I heard. Literally that is all I "witnessed" but there was an incident a few doors down ☹️ No idea what happened, but there was no ambulance so I'm hoping it was nothing too serious. Anyway, the poor guy had Vixen trying to sit on his lap or hitting his hand for attention. I kept bringing her over to me but just got growls from her! Raven and Fred also popped in to see the stranger and to see if they fit in his laptop bag. Then there was a scrabbling noise from behind me, and Lexter appeared at the top of the sofa having climbed up the back! This is the cat who cries till I clear a space on the ottoman thing so he can use "stairs" to get up onto his seat. God knows why he ended up behind the sofa but it gave the policeman and I a shock. He was lovely, as he left he stroked Vixen again and told her she was his favourite. I think if he'd had Dreamies like The Chef, she would have eloped with him
