By popular request, a furtherance of the Saga of TC the Stripey.

For anyone unfamiliar, this is a story of a war of attrition over the last two years waged by a fat stripey cat on the innocent and long suffering members (feline and human) of the Grumpy household. Now running at almost 3000 posts, clearly TC would give Grendel a run for his money

All literary references welcome, we've already had Shakespeare, Saki, James Thurber, The KJV bible, Judith Kerr, EM Forster, Benny Hill and of course our own Supersimkin2 (to name but a few).

Saw TC trotting past our house this morning with mouse in mouth. Ran straight to NDN and dropped the mouse at his feet.
NDN has now sent me this photo of domestic bliss in TC's own house.

He is sooo pleased with himself, hope you're not too disappointed that his special gift wasn't for you.

He’s feeding the whole family including the sodding dog. A mouse! Imho he can choose where to snatch a few minutes’ precious rest.

We were surprised to see TC chasing one of his dog siblings out of our garden yesterday .
Earlier this evening he was enjoying the last of the sun on our patio.

I think Grumpy was referring to the garden and patio that he is responsible for maintaining on behalf of the Great Overlord, just to differentiate from that which is the responsibility of anyone else.

DW was just mowing the lawn and thought she'd closed the outside door. Discovered that she hadn't and TC was curled up on the carpet in the living room. He couldn't get any further into the house beccause Sybil was sitting at the living room door guarding it.
DW tempted him out with a feather on a stick
