Nothing so sweet sadly. Ollie was shouting at Paws that he was not social distancing and no he couldn't come in Grin
I told ollie to stop being a grump and he let paws in

Little Paws and his second-home shenanigans. We all know where he pays council tax tho @ClientQ.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 15/05/2020 18:42

There's a couple of pigeons having a right old fight in the trees opposite us. Leroy is out here watching with great interest - it's like WWE but for cats. 😁

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/05/2020 21:12

Did he do the chirrup sounds?.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 15/05/2020 22:23

Oh boy did he chirrup! Flat to the ground, ears down, chirrupy-chattering... and waving his tail 🤦🏼‍♀️

Bless him, he enjoyed it 😁.

Supersimkin2 · 15/05/2020 22:39

Leroy deserves those pigeons roasted with game chips and bread sauce. Has he been for a promenae with DS again?

ClientQ · 15/05/2020 23:33

Paws clambered on the windowsill again and reversed in. He hasn't quite figured out to jump up facing the OTHER way, then he can walk in forwards Hmm I attract the dim ones

I would love to watch Paws coming in your house now Queen!

I am pleased to report that DS has continued to take Leroy out regularly 😁. Now that guidelines are a little more relaxed he has a choice of walking Leroy or cooking dinner.

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/05/2020 08:12

Oh lord I’d choose walking a cat over cooking too 😂.

Paws is just a lateral thinker Queen. He might see how Ollie does it and copy him. Asbo only used the bench for going out. He used it once to come in and I wasn’t expecting it, I screamed so loudly we agreed it was never to be repeated.

I have had more goldfinches on the feeder. It took 10 months but they finally found it. Ha! And to think dh said there weren’t any. I need a wall mounted bird water thingy now.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 16/05/2020 09:12

You and I think alike Fluffy. DS, on the other hand, is a bit weird so has cooked on Wednesday & Friday. I suspect he'll cook again tonight, but draw the line at Sunday dinner 😁.

I win 😂

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/05/2020 09:24

Give him 20 years, he’ll come around to our way of thinking.

swampytiggaa · 16/05/2020 09:33

I’ve been nurturing the catnip plants my friend gave me. Left the kitchen door open when I went for a shower and came back to this!

I shall try and video paws next time he does it Grin
Ollie just looks at him like "weirdo"

I thought Ollie grew up living in a glasshouse? I might be wrong on that score ... but if I am right he should know not to throw stones.

ClientQ · 16/05/2020 11:44

Ollie did spend 4 years in a greenhouse Grin with his female friend and (what I think) was their daughter

OP posts:
nettie434 · 16/05/2020 15:08

At least you know that the catnip will be appreciated Swampytigga. I have an image of them neatly rolling around on their own individual plant when they are ready to plant out Grin even though I know it's first come first served and no holds barred when it comes to catnip

YesItsMeIDontCare · 16/05/2020 15:44

Catnip is surprisingly robust. I bought three little plants like yours swampy and they went so wild DH built a planter to keep it all under control. This is despite the best efforts of the neighbourhood cats to demolish it 😁🤪.

I'm surprised the RSPCA and CPL haven't prosecuted me for possession with intent to supply 😱

Spoilsport. He’s never going to get a hat trick on an empty stomach.

Papergirl1968 · 16/05/2020 22:23

Did he do what ours always do and throw up in the only room that’s carpeted in the whole bloody house?

ClientQ · 16/05/2020 22:48

@Papergirl1968 always. He aimed for the new carpet today, about 4 inches from the litter tray Hmm

Sounds about right 😂

Capn V has met and flirted with Best Neighbour. She has a similar massive cat who looks a bit like Leroy.

Her cat, despite being an indoor cat, has managed screaming rows with our other neighbour's cat every morning this week. They both have to be hauled off their own balcony at 6am, yowling dire threats. Best Neighbour is frontline Covid NHS so she's knackered.

Capn V stunned us with his genius - purloined the Dreamies packet and forked one out at a time with his paw. We were both pissed.

Ollie is the most loving kitty in the world.
