Paws needs a full tum, his own bed and his own family to love him. And, by the sounds of it, a good brush.

You've got this Queen.

QueenCT · 17/06/2020 22:55

My hand sunk in his coat it's that thick! I don't mind if he doesn't want stroking, I just don't want him going completely feral and ending up on the streets totally

TheSparklyPussycat · 17/06/2020 23:56

From your last photo YesItsMe it is obvious that what you have there is a Black Lion. Leroy is therefore a very appropriate name for him.

coastergirl · 18/06/2020 00:17

@yesitsme Leroy is so impressive! He looks amazing

YesItsMeIDontCare · 18/06/2020 08:45

Leroy is therefore a very appropriate name for him.

I've really got to start taking the credit! However he was named by the lovely lady who saved him from euthanasia.

Supersimkin2 · 18/06/2020 16:58

Paws might just have the rock 'n' roll spirit, wandering artist, strolling player and all that.

I reckon that means he appreciates the security you give him even more.

If his fur is thicker, might mean he's LTB who were allegedly his first humans. Let's hope, anyway.

@Justonedayatatime11 - insanely impressed, you are total heroine re the snake. Extra points for screaming your head off, you properly rose to the occasion. That reptile won't be coming back in a hurry Grin

Supersimkin2 · 18/06/2020 17:03

@YesItsMeIDontCare my mate had a black cat of the same majestic proportions, and keenly developed sense of honour, as Leroy.

He had his own solicitor in the end. And two residences, one of which was court ordered.

Off on a summer day out Grin

QueenCT · 19/06/2020 11:38

It is POURING down. Ollie has sensibly retreated to bed

Justonedayatatime11 · 19/06/2020 14:07

I'm not happy. Bastard cat who proudly delivered me the snake followed it up with a vole yesterday and despite us having the most cat proofed garden you can imagine, he's just leapt ridiculously high and caught a blackbird in mid air Sad. I know it's partly his breed, but he is the most ruthless killer, and yet he's so sweet natured and he's been with me since he was 7 weeks old. I know he's just doing what cats do, but even still Sad

Papergirl1968 · 19/06/2020 14:52

Oh dear.
Have you seen the thread AIBU to leave my cat outside with a sign around his neck saying “free to a good home?” It’s in AIBU, not surprisingly.

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/06/2020 14:57

It’s ok with husband though?. Asking for a friend.

Justonedayatatime11 · 19/06/2020 15:06

I love him really, the floofy muppet. Just sad, he didn't even want to eat it, just throw it around the garden and then lose interest. He's surprisingly faster and more agile than Charlie

Defiantly41 · 19/06/2020 16:49

@justonedayatatime - I knew you were a multi-cat household, but 11?!

So ... 5 Savannahs, 2(?) chocolates ... who are the others? And do you actually have a picture of the whole lot together?

Supersimkin2 · 19/06/2020 16:59

The way I see it, @Justonedayatatime11, I eat Burger King & I'm not judging. Floofy muppet is doubtless convinced he is King of the Jungle and strutting about proudly Grin

Justonedayatatime11 · 19/06/2020 17:33

Defiantly41 12 actually Grin 5 Savannah's, 2 chocolate Suffolk's, a Siamese/Burmese cross and my 4 rescue moggies.

TheSparklyPussycat · 19/06/2020 19:25

As to plucking creatures from the air, I came down one morning to find that DCat had left 2 bat corpses outside the back door. I was saddened - but also very impressed.

I have been thinking to make a spreadsheet of cats and servants on this thread.

Supersimkin2 · 19/06/2020 20:51

With a column for The Game Bag?

QueenCT · 19/06/2020 21:03

The game bag?

I saw the video of Paws on fb. Amazing.

My boys have definitely made friends again. Lots of cuddling.

Also have a photo of Walter when his whole body vanished, leaving just his paws.

Aww, that’s great news, Coaster.
I have blinds like yours - or rather I did. They now have a few bits missing, thanks to the kids, cats and dog! Angry

nettie434 · 19/06/2020 23:27

Oh don't Walter & Bertie look so sweet, Coastergirl? I love Paws coming in backwards QueenCT. We are so used to cats being agile that it looks extra funny. Just, relieved for you that there were no more snakes 😱

TheSparklyPussycat · 20/06/2020 00:31

Paws is thinking there must be an easier way, if he could only work out what it might be.

coastergirl · 20/06/2020 02:46

My blinds are suffering too, mostly due to the baby who turns one today!

I am very happy to see Walter and Bertie cuddled up together again. They're lovely boys.
