Asbo suckles an invisible dummy in his sleep and sometimes chirrups. It's so cute.

Dummies for cats should be a thing.

LanaorAna2 · 04/09/2018 19:32

that was meant to be a smile of delight. He is getting loving, isn't he.

LanaorAna2 · 05/09/2018 08:47

A peaceful night, ended by the appearance of a small puncture wound on the wrist and a furry face looking blithely skyward.

Despite reservations about the origin of the assault, I served breakfast.

Oh Dear, it's more vet and more tests - his thyroid's kicked off quite badly acc the vet. Mine's all over the place but that's free (& treatment worse). We shall have a lie-in to consider our options.

LanaorAna2 · 05/09/2018 13:41

Fact of the day: did you know Ugg boots get moth? A brute crept into my lone pair, ate itself sick on a banquet of sheepskin, and died of happiness in the toe.

Blimmin' cheek. A mournful trip to the bin has taken place before its kids took the place over. I don't care if Uggs are Officially Hideous, I love them to bits and they last for years (usually).

Two Pills has been booked in for surgery. Hey ho, turns out Three Pills is not an option.

cozietoesie · 05/09/2018 18:45

What sort of surgery?

LanaorAna2 · 05/09/2018 19:07

Thyroid removal. Again. :(

Fluffycloudland77 · 05/09/2018 20:22

Oh that's awful, you must be so worried. When is it booked for?

LanaorAna2 · 05/09/2018 21:12

2 weeks. Poor little sod. Apparently they only took one side out and not only has that grown back but the other side has grown as well.

Mind you I am dead proud of him - at at least 16 and FIV there is not even a glimmer of a doubt he is fighting fit for an op.

LanaorAna2 · 05/09/2018 22:48

The patient relaxing. The vet also mentioned his 'weight gain'. You can see from the pix these so-called professionals know nothing.

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/09/2018 06:39

You cant keep a good thyroid down.

I like a bit of weight on cats, if their ill and don't eat they've got a reserve.

Ollivander84 · 06/09/2018 11:02

Woke up to Ollie sprawled across my pillow, above my head and draped around me with a paw across my face. He was snoring away, I was trying to realign my neck HmmGrin

Thanks F he's not that fat, I can still lift him. I agree entirely about the necessity of reserve.

Talking about reserves, mine are 0 with all the recent vetting, I'm going to ebay the contents of the flat Grin Faintly concerned as I reckon it's scammers paradise these days, should be interesting.

O don't get a cricked neck. Slooooowly does it.

SneakyGremlins · 06/09/2018 15:30

Known in this family as 'playing the fiddle'. I have no idea why........Grin

Why should 'pink beans' be so potentially tickleable? (I'm not used to them, of course, as Siamese have chocolate coloured ones.)

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/09/2018 07:34

Asbo's are black like his heart Wink

I was trying to get my new menstrual cup to fit yesterday (imagine stuffing a chicken but your the chicken) lying on the bedroom floor. Looked up to see the cat sat right there with a Shock look on his little face.

For a 14lb cat he can go stealth when it pleases him.

Papergirl1968 · 07/09/2018 08:14

Unfortunately he’s quite protective of his beans, Cozie.
The image that conjure up, Fluffy! Stuffing a chicken, love it Grin

LanaorAna2 · 07/09/2018 10:49

I'm full of bean love. PB has coffee beans?

My cat has refused to touch anything catfood-related for 72 hours. Special Sheba, AGAIL, Exigence, no. Roast chicken and ham, yes. He's on Indulgence Routine re the op, so I don't mind. Horrified the man in M&S last night by cleaning up on reduced ham sandwiches 'for the cat'.

Fluffy Grin Grin Grin did you get it in? With a sage leaf garnish? asbo was loyally guarding you from an itinerant but rapy ginger tom.

LanaorAna2 · 07/09/2018 11:04

Ooh, Matt is a luscious beauty.
