Just that in this house, baked veg is done in a cheese sauce with a heavy cheese topping. He might be partial to some topping. Grin

Papergirl1968 · 12/09/2018 21:35

Matt’s day went from bad to worse. Having been literally kicked out of bed, he was then jumped on by a neighbour’s cat in our own garden!
He seems cheerful enough now though, as he is currently doing zoomies around the house Confused

cozietoesie · 12/09/2018 22:12

Is the neighbour's cat a buddy of his?

Papergirl1968 · 12/09/2018 22:57

No, they are enemies!
I think the other cat is the dominant one. He has definitely been here longest. Although dd said Matt was on top of him. Matt is generally wary of him and isn’t the type to pick a fight so I think he was just defending his territory. Poor baby.

cozietoesie · 13/09/2018 00:08

If Matt was on top of him, he may have 'won' the encounter - which would account for the jollity and zoomies.

Ollivander84 · 13/09/2018 00:13

O is in his igloo, upside down in a ball, chirruping to himself Confused

True, Cozie.
Pleased to report I’m forgiven for kicking him and he spent the night by my feet again Smile

LanaorAna2 · 13/09/2018 11:19

He wouldn't touch the cheese topping C, broccoli bits put him off. He's in bed.

I reckon Matt won the fight. Little bugger next door, well done Matt. He had a lovely kip of victory last night, evidently.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/09/2018 14:21

He's done it again.

We'll have to exchange fred for asbo.

Ollivander84 · 13/09/2018 15:42

Ollie is upside down yet again. Kneading the air and chirruping. Seems happy enough 🤷🏽‍♀️Confused

What is it with Ollie and 'chirruping'? Grin

Ollivander84 · 13/09/2018 17:09

I have no idea. He follows me around the kitchen making his chirrup sounds. Then "ooooof" as he climbs on me
The chirrup is like a little "uhhhh?" sound

Fred and Ginge would suit you down to the ground F.

Asbo would finally find love with Ginge. He would be swept away in a midlife passion of awe at her skillz. He might even obey her, Antony to her Cleopatra. How is Rat II?

Had a testing time with family in state of disarray, rude and drunk. Mostly rude. Imagined holding Mr C all the way through - worked. Nothing like a rumbly 7kilos of solid warm hug. Even by proxy.

On me now in person, about to Dreamie it.

LanaorAna2 · 13/09/2018 20:58

Am saving Ollie VT for tomorrow morning when I have to do family again. :( Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/09/2018 08:46

I wonder what it's like having a nice family? or maybe this is normal and nice ones are the anomaly.

Good luck Lana.

LanaorAna2 · 14/09/2018 09:47

The lesser discussed dementias don't help F. Thanks so much. Mr C shouted and woke me up in the night so he could kip next to my face where my book had fallen.

Everybody needs a tabby for a pillow.

Ollivander84 · 14/09/2018 23:24

Apparently he is stuck there and can't get down Hmm

cozietoesie · 14/09/2018 23:49

Ha! He'd get down FAST if he were mine! Grin

Ollivander84 · 14/09/2018 23:54

I was getting changed and heard him howling. Went to look and I'm not sure who was more shocked Grin
He had to figure out his own way down as he won't be picked up. I think he's been on the counters maybe 4 times in 2 years? He doesn't ever go on the kitchen bit, just the end bit

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 14/09/2018 23:57

Speak sharply to him. He'll get down directly. Grin

Ollivander84 · 15/09/2018 00:06

He did Grin

Wink
LanaorAna2 · 15/09/2018 09:23

Has to be done - I yell at Mr C when he trips me or deliberately stands on my feet demanding spontaneous nutritional fulfilment. He loathes being picked up, that's The Big One in reserve.

In a pathetic attempt to wean the cat back onto catfood, we're on Country Hunter here. 'Human-grade meat' sounds a lot less attractive than 'M&S ham' doesn't it, but I shd think the Country Hunter is better for you. :)

Is it kitten day? How is PB?

Ollivander84 · 15/09/2018 09:43

All I have to do is an exaggerated gasp at Ollie and he's all "uh oh. Oops. Sorry" Grin
I avoid picking up due to the scratches (no immune system)
It possibly is kitten day later depending on the weather
