When db went to Noma, most expensive restaurant in world, he ordered spring lamb. As he sank his teeth into the first fragrant slice, the waiter told him what the lamb was called. Not the breed, not the flock, her name; Little Flora. Memorable dining experience, reviewers lied not.

Matt went to the vet for his boosters and disgraced himself by hissing and spitting at two dogs who dared get too close to his cage in the waiting room.
I embarrassed myself by asking the vet what the two teat like things were on his stomach, which somehow I’d only recently noticed. Who knew male cats had nipples on their stomachs ?!

LanaorAna2 · 06/07/2018 10:54

Well done Matt Grin. I wonder if Mr C's got nipples? Hard to tell with all the floof. I might try for a look if he's not too hot.

It's a 10-Dreamie ask, I feel.

Papergirl1968 · 06/07/2018 14:25

And he didn’t get told off this time for being overweight! Smile

Ollivander84 · 06/07/2018 14:29

Oh. You're home. Pet me

Have you noticed dog owners always sit next to cat owners at the vets?. You can be right at the end of the sodding room with all other chairs free and someone with a dog will sit next to you.

Then they act all surprised your cats growling.

Papergirl1968 · 06/07/2018 18:08

Yes, although it was very busy though as they’d had some emergencies.
We saw one couple carry a dog into a treatment room and emerge in tears after a while without the dog. The vets have a candle in the waiting room though with a notice saying that if the candle is burning, someone is saying goodbye to their pet so please be respectful. The candle hadn’t been lit so hopefully the dog was able to be treated.

LanaorAna2 · 06/07/2018 18:27

F I can imagine many a Rottweiler or Doberman owner has been more than a little surprised by the verbals from inside tiny asbo's small box. Serve them right Grin

LanaorAna2 · 06/07/2018 18:29

P they were more than likely admitting dog to hosp or for obs, we've all done that.

Ollivander84 · 07/07/2018 10:59

That's one hell of a plank, girl, well done.

Ginge is beyond lovely. Mr C's so hot he's stumped under the sofa near the fan, which he says he hates but is inching closer to it.

I've just ripped my tache off, he gave me a look of concern but then nodded and went back down. Prob thinks the less fur, the cooler I'll be. He's right, there was rather a lot of it :)

Papergirl1968 · 07/07/2018 20:14

Fat Matt, the dds and I have come to the seaside for a week. Got a very pleasant flat right opposite the beach and it’s a bit fresher than at home. His highness protested for the first part of the journey but must have needed the loo. Unfortunately his enormous bum was hanging off the back of the litter tray and so most of his wee landed on the car mat Grin. He was happier after that though especially when we went through a McDonald’s drive thru and gave him a bit of chicken nugget.

LanaorAna2 · 07/07/2018 21:12

Caught.

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/07/2018 21:21

That's a look of intense concentration there L.

LanaorAna2 · 07/07/2018 21:44

Didn't even notice the camera. Was hungry after being glued to footy.

LanaorAna2 · 08/07/2018 09:05

For the first time ever, Mr C kipped on the balcony after I thoughtfully washed it down for him. Lovely and cool under the lavender. He is refreshed and stealing food.

We might have a bit of a lie-in once he's tasted everything he can see. The Cuddle remains outstanding.

LanaorAna2 · 08/07/2018 09:35

Flat out.

Ollie has demolished two entire roast chicken drumsticks (I got rid of the bones obviously!) and is declaring he's "still a bit hangry thanks" Confused

Has he had the breast yet? :)

Ollivander84 · 08/07/2018 18:17

Um, nope! That's all MINE

LanaorAna2 · 08/07/2018 21:00

I've caved in - massive chicken roasting on hottest day of year. I blame pressure from social media Grin

Ollivander84 · 08/07/2018 21:09

I was sensible and bought one from Morrisons hot counter. They also had pork crackling sticks near the sliced ham Wink

LanaorAna2 · 09/07/2018 09:19

Brilliant, I've never thought of that for hot weather. On the upside I got a free bottle of prosecco with this vast chicken - one of the few things Mr C doesn't like.
