O wanted more mousse. And yes I bought some Blush

It's hard to interpret that look - it could be lovingly beseeching or scarily demanding.

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 10:17

The rest of MN's getting awfully shrieky - every other thread is squeals of misspelt abuse over interesting activities of the Kardashians.

Perhaps we're seeing some corresponding cattitude?

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 16:00

I've gone for new Whiskas Soups. They look so awful it quite turns your stomach - creamy white sick inc. chunks. Beware. Met with approval, however, rip-roaring post-prandial purring.

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 16:43

PB licked his bowl clean after one of them, truly disgusting though they look.

Relaxing this afternoon in LWT2.

That was worth waiting for - what a beauty. He's got the tail of contentment! When the end curls round...

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 16:59

I was spring cleaning yesterday and found a packet of dried fruit dated 2012. It has made a delicious cake with some old bananas (not as old, admittedly) that I shall be serving to the family tomorrow.

Before showing them the phone pic of the expiry label Grin

Ollivander84 · 16/03/2018 17:15

O is hurtling around the living room, down the hall and bouncing on and off the windowsill. I'm sat on the sofa shouting "BOO" every so often. When I do that, he shrieks and runs off. Hours of free entertainment Confused

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 17:20

You have a (deep) streak of devilry in you, Lana. Grin

He's 'officially' a chocolate point but you can all see that he's really a seal. (Both his parents were seals.)

Trouble for me - he's as intelligent and emotional as anything - but Firstcat was a seal so I guess I ought to be used to it.

I can’t get over how pointy his nose is compared to other breeds. He’s like a proper old fashioned siamese. Are you allowed to touch him?. Why do you think they got his classification wrong?.

L Asbo is sulking. I painted a colour swatch. He sat in it. I cleaned him. He sat in it again. Obviously it was an attempt on his life and iabu.

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 19:13

Bad luck eh F Mr C doesn't approve of DIY either. Asbo adorable Grin

Yes F and C that's exactly it - he looks like a Siamese from a print in a very valuable old book, or a Siamese you'd see illustrated behind glass in the darker bits of the V&A. Proper, precious Siamese.

I am intelligent and emotional, I wish I was that thin.

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 19:28

I don't think they erred on the colour classification as such. He looked quite pale when he was knee high.

It's just that Siamese seals become darker - maybe even have become darker - over the years. If you look at many sealpoint boys, they can become almost dark brown as they age. He's a 'light' seal, so I don't think he'll change much now. I might well have classified him as a chocolate when he was young myself.

He is old-fashioned though. Smile

cozie he is absolutely stunning!

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 20:05

Oh he's a goog-looking lad right enough, Just. As a (real) seal, he's ferociously intelligent - and doesn't have that Happy Go Lucky approach to life that chocolates have. Never mind. Smile

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 20:06

Sorry. good-looking

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 20:29

I'd swap brains for easy-going in an instant. Harder work, but you get much more back. He looks so happy and content :)

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 20:38

The other evening, he was headed into a room he's not normally allowed in - the only one on this floor - and, if I recall, I simply said to him 'Excuse Me, Sir' and he turned round and went back downstairs. (I quickly closed the door, which I'd had open by mistake.) No drama or tail swishes. Smile

Gifted. You don't get that from the average cat.

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 22:40

I have been thinking - brooding, too be honest - and I regret to admit I am very jealous of PB's comportment and sensibility.

cozietoesie · 16/03/2018 22:57

Ah. But you get...........lurrvvv. Wink

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 23:01

You will get that too in time... he is transformed already. Mind you, if you ever miss 7kg of gaseous noisy snoring on the head while attempting to get some rest after a grueeling 15-hr petcare shift, Parcelforce delivers live animals I hear.

Ollivander84 · 16/03/2018 23:03

Parcelforce you say? Ollie is packing his mousie and ribbon and will be right over as soon as he's finished his nap

LanaorAna2 · 16/03/2018 23:04

sp grue-e-e-e-e-lling. Really.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/03/2018 23:22

Can you imagine what a 'cat play date' for all the MN felines would be like? :).
