I have no idea, Rusty. They come in packs of two - a white mouse with green tail feathers (which he despises) and a brown mouse with red tail feathers. (The ones. Grin)

I'll keep a lookout anyway! Smile

I may, actually, put out a white mouse and see if he 'takes to it'.

I do sympathise, my old Siamese boy had a favourite fish on a stick that was available everywhere. Until it wasn't. I bought the other toys in the same brand and he turned his nose up bless him

cozietoesie · 02/02/2018 01:42

Three brown mice in the 'Mouse Place' tonight. I should get some sleep. Smile

Can I share a photo of my latest rescue boy in exchange for looking out for mice? He is such a sweetie

sashh · 02/02/2018 07:46

I understand from a British POV it might not seem that it is racist, especially as you can look it up in an ‘official dictionary’ and all, and try to argue from authority, but it’s the common usage that is insulting, so I propose it’s up to us all not to ride roughshod over each other, eh?

Paddy is an English word that means a tantrum. The use of the term to indicate nationality is offensive but it doesn't stop the word being perfectly acceptable to mean a tantrum.

Paddy is also a field where rice is grown.

If you are going to have a go have a go at 'Paddy Power'.

He went into his second residence!!!! Yayayay. Be shameless, make it nicer than CT beach home.

I will have a look for hi-contrast mice in Waitrose this morning.

Mr C is sulking as I am cleaning the sofa. Trying to clean the sofa; I've hoovered it, scrubbed it, sprayed Febreze on it, and it still looks rather limp. Hmmm.

Sharing photos is obligatory!

Rusty you mentioned a photo...

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2018 12:58

No mice in Sainsburys.

Errrrr good?

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2018 13:35

Toy mice for new boy.

There's probably live ones somewhere in there.

cozietoesie · 02/02/2018 13:46

Thanks for looking, anyway, Fluffy. Smile

They did have a "cat finger toy" which I mis-read at first.

By the way, everybody who might be keeping an eye open, don't say to anyone that you're looking for a brown mouse with scarlet ears and scarlet tail feathers. They'll likely just smile sweetly and ring to have you committed forthwith.

Right. Which one of us feeds PB when you're gone? Grin

Lanaorana2 · 02/02/2018 15:14

Would it be easier if I made some - how about felt and feathers, stuffed with catnip? Or would the careful handstitch (ho ho) only last a minute?

Just remembered you can use cat ownership as a defence for detainment, as it happens. Yep, Article 8.

cozietoesie · 02/02/2018 15:19

The .......awarding of PB's name gives him official 'family status', I'm pleased to say. Smile (His curmudgeonliness sort of goes with him.) So he would be 'done for' in the event of my absence.

What is the occasion for comment?

I have tonsillitis. Ollie is doing vague concerned face from the safety of his igloo
