I've just got in - HR Director closed the office at 1pm due to drifting snow on the tiny lane we work off - and there's not been a peep from mine. Usually when I get in from work they are at the door yelling for Webbox Sticks (or Lik e Lix if I feel like treating them), today I know full well I'll find them curled up on my bed together completely zonked out when I go up to the loo!

Weedsnseeds1 · 01/03/2018 15:28

My jokes about him being a pedigree faux-Siberian are obviously true Lana !

Ollivander84 · 01/03/2018 19:34

Snoozy and warm

There are some electric blankets in clearance in Tesco opposite for a tenner. I've got kingsize, I can't get off it and Mr C is purring fit to burst.

Does anyone else want one? Slumberland Snuggle Up, I think they were about 50 quid originally, cream, and you tie them to the mattress. You can't use them as throws though.

Shout if anyone wants one and I will post it. With the proper stamps on :)

cozietoesie · 02/03/2018 13:24

We're an electric blanket household here. I'll take a couple (one double, one king size) if they have any left?

yayayay Cozie - only kingsize now but I bought the king by accident and it fits fine on a double mattress.

king is 13 quid, is that ok

LanaorAna2 · 02/03/2018 16:14

If you don't get this for hours, never fear, I will go and get what I can & no sweat if you change your mind Tesco is about 1 min away

cozietoesie · 02/03/2018 16:16

That's fine. Smile

OK brill will set off as soon as the 30, 000 snowballing teens outside the door have dispersed.

Mr C is being handfed rare roast beef slices on throw. Another momentary delay Grin

Ollivander84 · 02/03/2018 17:07

Just tried O with a handful of that wild freedom dry food. He's actually choosing to eat it before his natures menu Shock

LanaorAna2 · 02/03/2018 18:00

C gutted, sorry - all sold out. I tried to order more via customer services desk but they weren't having it.

Never fear - quite often they come in brand new to the Salvation Army. I shall use my contacts.

LanaorAna2 · 02/03/2018 18:06

On the upside, my mother tells me that Princess Margaret's boyfriend in the 70s bought one and, with delight, sank into it all night. He woke up striped red and white.

I said not the Royal Warrant habadashers then, Mum said no, it was agony & he really did look like a deckchair.

cozietoesie · 02/03/2018 18:21

No problem, Lana. Thanks for trying. Smile

Tom ( my be fanged soppy older bigger version of Ollie ) has just jumped in the bath and weed carefully down the plug hole rather than go out in the WHITE COLD.

LanaorAna2 · 02/03/2018 19:56

That is legend.

I am so impressed - have heard of this urban folklore brilliance but never actually met any cat who's done it. Well done Tom. Speechless with admiration.

You must be so proud of him Grin

Weedsnseeds1 · 02/03/2018 20:50

My boy is not so keen now it's over his head. He has a litter tray and knows how to use the human toilet, so there are alternatives to checking every exit in the house to see if that bit has been de-snowed yet!
You are the queen of bargains Lana Smile

LanaorAna2 · 02/03/2018 21:16

I relish my double yellow-stickered sausage roll as I thank you. :)

haven't listened but the title alone...

LanaorAna2 · 02/03/2018 22:20

Any chance of a recent portrait of PB? Another thread is soliciting pix too, so I thought I might mention it :)

Weedsnseeds1 · 02/03/2018 23:43

I think the art of arguing with a cat is to just accept you are wrong!
I love a bargain myself, but local stores seem stingier than yours. Although I still think fondly of the evening I called in at Waitrose and was offered rotisserie chicken at 50p each!
Yes, we need photos of spoilt Siamese with his warmed supper and choice of individually heated accommodation Grin

cozietoesie · 03/03/2018 00:00

I think he'd .......discuss vigorously the notion that he's spoilt. Grin

Weedsnseeds1 · 03/03/2018 00:01

Oh, he's just decided he likes snow again and a midnight jaunt is in order!

Weedsnseeds1 · 03/03/2018 00:04

He would argue until he turned blue, I'm sure cozie , doesn't know which side his bread is buttered that one!Smile

cozietoesie · 03/03/2018 00:12

As I said........discuss vigorously. Grin

If we have arguments, I win them. (We've just had one about the location of his Second Supper. I left it in the kitchen - he wants it I

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 03/03/2018 00:13

.........- he wants it in his room. It's in the kitchen at the moment.

(Sorry. Pressed 'Post' too soon.)

Stand your ground! Unless he has prehensile paws, there's not much he can do about it Smile
