My beautiful cat is missing

She's a house cat and just have got out without me noticing when I let the dogs out, normally not a problem, but I must not have seen her before I shut the door and now she's gone. I'm
Not even sure how long she's been out, and I feel awful.

I've had a wander round the streets, but it got too dark and meant the house was shut up, anyway. I'm now sitting with the back door open and the kitchen light on.

Please tell me she'll be ok and come back, even if you don't believe it

I saw this on my FB newsfeed while I was visiting family over Christmas, and was about to ring my house sitter to ask why they'd taken my cat to a different house, until I switched my brain on checked who had actually posted it

This is my cat in the same sort of position, so you can see why I couldn't recognise my own cat
