I've got a Siamese cat. He was abandoned by his owner and is living in state - three nests made by neighbours - in our garden. He is absolutely beautiful, aged 11, and a white/cream colour, brown eyes I think. So far we have blinked at each other, me flat on face behind bush in garden.

The lady who feeds him is going away for 6 weeks. She is in a royal state of anxiety so I stepped in. Have been trained to do the feeding, leg massage, etc.

His history is shameful. He has been coming to us for food for ages, finally taken to Battersea, where his so-called owner collected him in 90 minutes. Then left him to starve. So you see I can't not.

Any words of wisdom? I need them.

No trouble, is he :)

The Poundland ones are straw coloured. If they ever stock brown ones I will post him the entire stock.

Has anyone seen the new Amazon Prime series 'Kittens'? It's VT of kittens. With kittens playing. Kittens eating. Kittens patting each others' tails. Kittens yawning. Includes Siamese kittens.

.....who are getting others to do their yawning for them? Grin

Lanaorana2 · 15/01/2018 17:28

The Siamese kitlings are entrancing; spherical pompoms gleefully bobbing from side to side, tiny naughty tails. Smiley. Suspiciously smiley. You must C, telly highlight of the decade.

Mr C won't touch Gourmet, again. Just caved in and been to M&S in the rain to get his fave chicken dinner. He might be bitey, old, curmudgeonly and going a bit baggy at the sides, but he is still the Most Beautiful Kitten In the World to me.

And I guess I'm World's Most Obliging Bed Warmer to him.

Just been to a house with a biting cat that apparently hates affection. You can guess what happened ConfusedGrin

You are the Pied Piper was of cats!

My DH is your equivalent with dogs. We've never owned a dog, but they always come up to him as if he's their long lost owner.

Just give up now, Ollivander and go work with TCN. Grin

Ollivander84 · 15/01/2018 20:15

She had belly rubs and then came to rub her face on me before I wore her as a scarf
Her owners face was HmmConfusedShock "she bites normally. And doesn't like people"

cozietoesie · 15/01/2018 20:39

Just found two brown mice and a dark beige thing with feathers. I'm doing well. Smile

Ollivander84 · 15/01/2018 23:12

O is "hunting" his toy mouse in the cardboard cave. I need to put it out for recycling when he's not looking

Allergictoironing · 16/01/2018 08:10

Ollivander please come & visit - Boycat won't let anyone but me near him & I think he needs interaction with others to get over his fear of "Not My Hooman so must be a monster"! Grin

O have you got an agent? You are Lady Catnip, the woman all cats fall in love with.

You're welcome to come and do a tour of London any time. We can put pix on insta of furious ferals turned into purring fur wraps around you from Dalston to Chelsea. Me and Mr C would look after Olli and his Waif...

C Three brown mice, see how they run....:)

Mr C is slumbering fatly on New Quilt, a vintage eiderdown I bought and boiled last week. It's come out brilliantly - no knit to snag claws with and a pleasing Liberty print against which his fur looks lush, he says. I was slightly hoping to use it myself.

How is PB? Apparently there is to be a turn in the weather that may displease him, not that he will notice in CT.

I had better do some work as I am clearly not allowed to move (leg holding up one corner of New Quilt) and I hope this will not lead to more Amazon Kittens.

cozietoesie · 16/01/2018 14:18

PB is reclining, in a disgruntled manner, inside his LWT. CT is only just above 15 degrees - which is wholly inadequate in his view, I think. (I have had to put the heating on.)

Lanaorana2 · 16/01/2018 15:07

He's hinting for a nice eiderdown, I expect. :)

Remind me. Is Ginger a girl? Smile

Ollivander84 · 16/01/2018 15:27

Yes Smile
Fred is a big soft pudding who likes a fuss

cozietoesie · 16/01/2018 15:48

She looks very plump. Is Fred doing the work and she gets the rewards? Grin

Ollivander84 · 16/01/2018 16:05

Fred mostly runs around following us, he's very kitten like. Ginge likes to sit and observe Grin she's too scared to come out

Lanaorana2 · 16/01/2018 19:51

OOO! Kittenz! Fat kittenz!!

Sorry, nothing of any intellect to add. Grin

OP posts:
cozietoesie · 16/01/2018 19:56

To 'sit and observe' is actually a good tactic - especially if you're sitting atop an escape route for critters. (One paw lazily stretched out will do it. Wink)

Lanaorana2 · 16/01/2018 21:03

Advice please: how do I get Mr C off my legs and feet AT ALL times inc when I am walking. Driving me nuts and dangerous. Sick of not being able to put a foot down inside the house - he's either winding round me or deliberately moves in front of me and sits down.

Lifting him up?
