I've got a Siamese cat. He was abandoned by his owner and is living in state - three nests made by neighbours - in our garden. He is absolutely beautiful, aged 11, and a white/cream colour, brown eyes I think. So far we have blinked at each other, me flat on face behind bush in garden.

The lady who feeds him is going away for 6 weeks. She is in a royal state of anxiety so I stepped in. Have been trained to do the feeding, leg massage, etc.

His history is shameful. He has been coming to us for food for ages, finally taken to Battersea, where his so-called owner collected him in 90 minutes. Then left him to starve. So you see I can't not.

Any words of wisdom? I need them.

A mog has to have his boundaries.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/01/2018 19:38

C It's easier to count the ones we haven't lost. Disco mousie & mousie without a squeaker survived.

Fuck knows where the last catnip squeaky mouse went.

Lanaorana2 · 12/01/2018 20:47

I don't know where they journey to either. Feline single socks, basikerly.

How is PB today - is he moused up at all? Talking of socks, Mr C woke me by tearing my bedsocks off with his teeth.

NB is now only coming to the caretaker. I've been sent home early with no party bag. The bills are coming my way though wh is fair enough.

But that's what boxes are for. Territory to defend.

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/01/2018 21:07

Harsh. Very harsh.

How long till caretaker decides to take nb for his own?.

cozietoesie · 12/01/2018 21:28

As if he's the one who chooses? Grin

Has he started saying 'My Boy............' yet?

cozietoesie · 12/01/2018 21:29

PB is curiously subdued.........

Lanaorana2 · 12/01/2018 21:43

What is missing from the kitchen?

cozietoesie · 12/01/2018 21:58

Hah! You cynic! Grin (I think it's the temperature. I'm playing with the heating so...........)

Lanaorana2 · 12/01/2018 22:08

Cynic = petcare assistant (experienced) :)

Mr C has spent all day on throw, it's the weather.

Lanaorana2 · 13/01/2018 10:49

Sitting here in 5 degrees with door open as Mr C reclines on throw deciding whether to pee on the hyacinths. How PB?

M how are the lads? 7uy68 - that was Mr C typing HNY to them with his fat paws.

Ollie is gallivanting about in his box. Seems to involve zooming in and out of it and clawing it like something possessed

cozietoesie · 13/01/2018 12:56

He's throwing something around in TC. I went in there to clean his tray and he kept on playing (biffing something.) Smile

cozietoesie · 13/01/2018 12:57

Sorry. CT.

Lanaorana2 · 13/01/2018 15:39

Saturday Keep Fit, a fine and wholesome pastime :)

Mr C doesn't Do fitness. We are enjoying an unusual production 'Robinson Crusoe on Mars'. I'm amazed they didn't recycle the reel of film.

O is asking why I am going out when I have HIM to cuddle

The adventures of Newerboy
cozietoesie · 13/01/2018 19:42

Actually, being already in his igloo is probably not the best place to launch a complaint from. Grin

Ollivander84 · 13/01/2018 20:06

Ah but anything else would involve him leaving the igloo and that is not happening until stupid human turns the sun back on Grin

YetAnotherSpartacus · 13/01/2018 23:49

Of course you should not go out. Even if his nibs is in the igloo asleep he might wake up and want scritches, cuddles, da bird, treats, the window open, to be told how gorgeous he is - and anyway he does not remember giving his slave a day off.

Ollivander84 · 13/01/2018 23:51

I am home Smile he has chirruped at me and done his happy dance before falling asleep drooling

Lanaorana2 · 14/01/2018 10:11

Mr C likes it when I go out for a bit - he sits on my sofa patch
]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]] (that was him agreeing) ie takes over the chairmanship of the residence. Also nips round stealing stuff then chilling out in peace.

Still greets me by grabbing the shopping and screaming for food while I'm bursting for the loo.

Just seen the caretaker, the picture of mournful dignity, stomping across the garden with a cat bowl followed by at least four spherical moggies springing about his legs with delight.

About to deliver another 2kg sack of hilariously pricy Royal Canin. Might shove a bottle of wine in too.

NewWaif is back. Feels cold and has run in and eaten an entire half pouch of wet food and a bowl of biscuits in about 60 seconds. It was down for Ollie but there isn't a crumb left, she's even tried to eat the bowl

cozietoesie · 14/01/2018 13:41

Poor waif.

Left the window open, did you?

Ollivander84 · 14/01/2018 14:02

Of course! I'm at home Grin
NewWaif promptly threw up on my kitchen floor
