Help. My cat had pooped in my bedroom and I can’t find it.

Ok my cat has done a horrible smelling shit and I can’t find it.

It’s definitely in the bedroom, I’ve looked everywhere. Except obviously I haven’t.

Where might a cat do a “secret poo?”

I’ve checked on my shelves, under the bed, in the pile of fresh washing, in the cupboard. NOTHING.

I’ve tried following the scent 😷 but it’s nowhere to be seen. Please help me before I have to check in to a hotel or sell up!!!

Just checking back for an update.

If nothing else: best Saturday night thread, ever.

AccrualIntentions · 28/10/2017 22:37

Thank god my cat only ever does dirty protests in the bath Confused

pieceofpurplesky · 28/10/2017 22:43

I hope you find it OP

Kitee · 28/10/2017 23:01

Yes I managed to have name changed there as well. I can’t even work out a forum never mind a shitty cat 😂

The poo is still AWOL.

Sleep well.

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 23:07

Have a good night ...on the sofa. At least you’re not freezing.Grin

Can you shut the bedroom door and leave windows open all night?

flutterby12 · 28/10/2017 23:08

OP I recognised your name change - are you the one with CFN and Spangran? Neighbour put a door into garden?!

TheSpottedZebra · 28/10/2017 23:17

Hang on , didn't you say on yr it her thread that your flat was uninhabitable and you were staying with a friend?

TheSpottedZebra · 28/10/2017 23:18

yr it her = your other

RedPandaMama · 28/10/2017 23:21

This thread has made my and DP's night Grin

washingmachinefastwash · 28/10/2017 23:24

This has made my night OP.

Could the poo be in a pillowcase, behind the headboard, behind or in bedside table/chest of drawers, fallen behind a curtain, in the duvet cover, have you taken your mattress off?

Kitee · 28/10/2017 23:27

Yep that’s me and why (not my own flat haha!) I’ve tried to keep the CFN stuff separate to my everyday life as it’s very draining.

I’ve decided to risk going to bed 😦

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 23:28

@TheSpottedZebra don’t you dare try and take the ghost cat shit away from is!

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 23:28

*us

flutterby12 · 28/10/2017 23:30

Oh I hope all is ok and you get your lovely garden back. Those threads were great, can imagine it must be stressful though. I hope it gets sorted and I also hope you find the 💩 Flowers

TheSpottedZebra · 28/10/2017 23:34

But why would you be mentioning rightmove if not your place?
And surely the fact that there was a stinky ghost poo in a friend's flat would be kind of relevant.

Hmm.

Kitee · 28/10/2017 23:36

Aww Zebra it was just meant as a joke. I’m obviously not going to sell up 😂 the thread was just genuinely about a rogue cat poo, nothing else Grin

Take lots of photos, share them on here and we can play 'spot the shit' like a spot the ball competition!?

PickledLilly · 28/10/2017 23:43

My current cat has never hidden a revenge poo (yet) but there was a revolting smell in my daughters room a few months ago. It turned out the bastard fucking cat had murdered a mouse and hidden it in the middle of a pile of soft toys 🤢 the smell was unimaginable.

SteelyPip · 28/10/2017 23:44

You haven't got a curtain tie-back have you? If you have remove it gingerly. Wiffle the curtain with a pole whilst standing as far back as you can and wait for the poo to possibly plop or drip out of a pleat.

One of my cats took to going in the understairs cupboard. Once perfectly in DH's shoe and the second in my shirt I'd not hung up properly and had fallen on the floor.

One of my other cats (when a kitten) had a UTI and used to sit on the curtain tie and kind of dribble wee down the pleats.

I'm combining the wizardry of one with the dastardly cunning of the other to point me to this possibility. Halloween Grin

Little bastard cat once shat on top of a tangle of cables behind the tv. It was well camouflaged there for several days.

AccrualIntentions · 28/10/2017 23:57

@PickledLilly oh we had that and he left it under the bed in the spare room. It was not good....

cozietoesie · 29/10/2017 00:06

You’re generally OK if it .....dessicates before you find it. Smile

Annieshop · 29/10/2017 05:19

This thread makes ‘spot the panda’ quizzes look so last year.

Tiddlywinks63 · 29/10/2017 05:52

We had a cat that crapped in my husband's wellie.......he found out with bare feet. And I put on a welly with a live mouse in it.
Definitely not a cat lover here!
