Help. My cat had pooped in my bedroom and I can’t find it.

Ok my cat has done a horrible smelling shit and I can’t find it.

It’s definitely in the bedroom, I’ve looked everywhere. Except obviously I haven’t.

Where might a cat do a “secret poo?”

I’ve checked on my shelves, under the bed, in the pile of fresh washing, in the cupboard. NOTHING.

I’ve tried following the scent 😷 but it’s nowhere to be seen. Please help me before I have to check in to a hotel or sell up!!!

I'm on tenterhooks here!

Have you stripped the bed? Behind bed head?

CatsAreKool · 28/10/2017 20:05

Under the bed

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 20:11

Under/behind furniture?
In the wash basket.
In the wardrobe in a box /back of shelf/ under clothes.

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:17

Right I’ve looked under the bed with a torch, thought I’d hit the jackpot but it was a sock.

No carpets so won’t be that (laminate)

I’m losing the plot here.

Between the leg of the bed and the wall.

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:19

Do you have a box of tissues besides your bed?

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:19

I’ve not stripped the bed but surely he won’t have snuck under the sheet to release the ultimate shit???

Oh god.

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:19

Yes strip the bed

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:20

We call this a POP in our house btw - poo of protest.

What did you do?

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:20

Northern I actually do 😂 surely the shit can’t be in there?

OP posts:
NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:20

Yes it can.....

bottlesandcans · 28/10/2017 20:20

Throw the whole cat away Halloween Grin

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:21

Also try the bedroom bin

Longdistance · 28/10/2017 20:23

Window?

Strip the bed otherwise.

SharkSkinThing · 28/10/2017 20:24

Have you checked on YOU anywhere? Have you sat in it, walked in it...is it (urgh) in your hair?

ownedbySWD · 28/10/2017 20:24

Any boxes kitty can squeeze.in and.out.of? I found our cat on the top step to the cellar tonight. She'd been trapped down there all afternoon, after sneaking in when dh went down for tools. I'm sure she's done a poo somewhere I am afraid to look!

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:25

Ive Just stripped the bed Angry it’s not there.

It’s not in the tissue box. FUCKING HELL HOW AM I MEANT TO GO TO SLEEP IN THERE??

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 20:27

Can you leave the room/house for a while? Breathe in some fresh air or whatever(have a fag Grin) and then come back later to try and sniff it out?
Atm you’ll prolly still ve smelling it even when not in the room.

Jakethekid · 28/10/2017 20:27

I don't even have a cat but I'm following this thread. Your saturday night might be finding the poo but I'm spending my saturday night reading about someone finding poo!

Would the cat not be able to lead you to the poo? Do cats do this?

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:27

Are there any suitcases or bags under the bed?

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:28

No cats do not lead you to the poo. They sit and sneer at your inadequacy.

Annieshop · 28/10/2017 20:28

Kinell, I couldn’t bear it. Any Premier where you are or bus shelters?

Justabadwife · 28/10/2017 20:29

Oooh. The plot thickens 💩💩
Behind any furniture, behind the radiator?
Good luck 🍀🍀🍀

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:29

We need picture of your bedroom and the adjacent areas.

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:29

jake he normally scratches around the poo for about ten hours but surprise not this time. He’s left well alone.
