Help. My cat had pooped in my bedroom and I can’t find it.

Ok my cat has done a horrible smelling shit and I can’t find it.

It’s definitely in the bedroom, I’ve looked everywhere. Except obviously I haven’t.

Where might a cat do a “secret poo?”

I’ve checked on my shelves, under the bed, in the pile of fresh washing, in the cupboard. NOTHING.

I’ve tried following the scent 😷 but it’s nowhere to be seen. Please help me before I have to check in to a hotel or sell up!!!

This has made me 😂

PunkrockerGirl59 · 28/10/2017 20:30

Another one on tenterhooks here! Best entertainment I've had on a Saturday night for a long time Grin
Hope you get to the bottom of the problem soon, OP (see what I did there).

SharkSkinThing · 28/10/2017 20:30

Even I am starting to smell cat poo now.

I am supposed to be doing my PhD, but this is far more important.

Jakethekid · 28/10/2017 20:31

It's not still stuck to the cats fur is it? I can just imagine your cat watching at your playing 'hot or cold' in their head and laughing to themselves. Grin I do need to get a life!

Jakethekid · 28/10/2017 20:32

You* not your.

QforCucumber · 28/10/2017 20:32

He may have tried to cover it, anything look out of place? A scarf, bottom of inside of wardrobe? Oh you poor thing.

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:32

I do have a few boxes on my shelf but they have lids on them Angry

Cat is now lying comfy on the bed so it’s probbaly not on/ in the bed.

I have actually asked him to show me where the shit is. lost my mind he has not obliged.

Pictures please! I am way too invested in this.....

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:33

Or a diagram

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:33

Have you got any carrier bags on the floor or on a chair?

dontpokethebear · 28/10/2017 20:35

Just checking in to keep up with poo updates.

Justabadwife · 28/10/2017 20:35

He isnt just farting is he? 🐱

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 20:36

Pp’s are right. We need a picture/diagram if your bedroom.

Right now I’m looking terrified at ALL the possible places RebelCat could poop. Too much crap, too many places.

Kitee · 28/10/2017 20:36

The smell is the most potent in the middle of the room - where there is nothing!! Logically it doesn’t add up.

I have to find it!! What will happen if I don’t? Will it get worse? Will it dry out? Will it eventually disappear after 4 years will it attract mice 🐁😷😷😷

This better be a one off.

Grin at Northern wanting a diagram.

Vinorosso74 · 28/10/2017 20:37

Sympathies. Our elderly cat rarely poos in her tray now-she tends to use the same corner in the bathroom. There was a definite poo smell the other day we looked everywhere and pinned it down to the lounge, moved furniture all sorts then realised she'd gone on the Observer review section and it had sort of blended in with the cover picture.
Could something like that have happened? Clutching at straws here. There isn't any poo on shoes in the bedroom is there?

Jakethekid · 28/10/2017 20:37

Is it 100% cat poo? And not something under the floor boards?

RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 20:39

Shit now I can smell poo. Trying to close my eyes and think where it might be ,badly backfired.

MargotLovedTom1 · 28/10/2017 20:39

Say a prayer to St Anthony - "I've lost a cat shit. Help me!"

Sorted.

NorthernLurker · 28/10/2017 20:39

Did you put your hand in the shoes? Because if could have rolled down in to the toe nod

Ruhrpott · 28/10/2017 20:40

You sure he hasn’t just farted? Our cat farts and it’s really potent for a while.

SharkSkinThing · 28/10/2017 20:41

I am laughing my tits off at this thread.

Kitee, where are you? We can arrange a search party, and bring enough wine so that you won't care about the poo for much longer.

Marlinspike · 28/10/2017 20:42

Vinrosso that’s hilarious! Just out of interest, what was the picture on the front of the Observer review section that blended so effectively with a cat turd?

And does the Observer still have a separate review section, as the Sunday Times have annoyingly just tacked their review section onto the end of the main section.

Annieshop · 28/10/2017 20:43

He isnt just farting is he ?

Grin
RebelRogue · 28/10/2017 20:43

It’s a Halloween poo! A ghost poo.
