Realised I filled up the last thread with inanity!

Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

Each not really, between them they get 2 1/2 sachets daily (1 morning 2 evening) which doesn't seem much but they won't eat more, then they get free access to dry food 24/7

Our old cat Juno was a right fatty and it was only after she died that we realised she was eating the lion's share of food - there was never any left!

Both Freya and Maisie are really active though, lots of running/climbing especially now they can get limited outdoor access

Want2 - gorgeous photo

I don't know how 1 + 2 came to 2 1/2 in my head!! 1/2 each in the morning then 1 each at night is what I meant Blush

Mine are definitely showing the "benefit" of a willing slave and are looking not quite as svelte as when they arrived here - just a little sign of loose belly skin showing from the side Blush. They get 1/2 pouch between them in the morning and 1 pouch between them evenings, and dry ad lib so less than Caoraich's get - though mine only get indoor exercise of course. Then again, they do get too many Dreamies

Want2beme · 06/11/2017 22:48

caoraich thank you. She's a sweet girl most of the time, but I've just sent her off upstairs with a flea in her ear for constantly scratching the furniture, which is her way of demanding that I play that bloody stick toy thing with her. She has me demented with it, day & nightHmm

EachandEveryone · 06/11/2017 23:12

I’m the same 1 pouch halved morning and night and dry food which is grain free. Maybe it’s the lick e Lix I’m putting on it nearly every day or the dreamies I’m giving them when they answer me and come inside? I need to find some none fattening sweets

caoraich · 06/11/2017 23:31

Yeah ours don't get many dreamies and maisie is still very kittenish so there's a lot of chasing.

Is this a cat with a human arm?? No, it's just a mild case of suffocation. I do have a face full of fur but actually this is the nicest thing. Sooo many purrs

I’m going to have to leave mine this week with my drink neighbour they will hate me. I can’t stay down here when my brother and sister are running around sorting out death certificates and things.

BulletFox · 07/11/2017 22:38

Umm...she doesn't half make some weird noises when she's heavily asleep. Snuffles, snorts, little whimperings

She's curled up on my leg at present. Snortling away.

AtSea1979 · 07/11/2017 23:04

I had a zooplus parcel arrive today. S cat can only have Applaws which is costing me a fortune, he better like it!
The biting has lessened. Before I was continuing to stroke him, determined that he wouldn't tell me when to back off but now I'm just giving him a couple of head rubs then walking away. If he wants more then he comes for it, gets a couple more then I move on. So far so good. He doesn't get chance to nip.

AtSea1979 · 07/11/2017 23:05

Ollie is so similar to s cat

Awwww. Mine's a little black one as well

Ollivander84 · 08/11/2017 14:53

I'm in the bath. Ollie has just strolled past the door, closely followed by Paws Hmm

Allergictoironing · 08/11/2017 20:44

I may have made an error of judgement. Doing my Asda order on line the other day including Webbox sticks and thought "people rave about this Lik e lix stuff, wonder if mine might tolerate it?". Bear in mind that mine are very fussy about their food, won't touch ham, may take a scrap of lamb or duck as a favour to me, and gave me mortally offended looks the other day when I offered them some very fresh baked cod (gift for my dinner from fishing NDN).

So, well before supper time I placed the contents of 1 rube on a saucer & placed it on the floor. Within seconds all I could see was two bums quivering with delight & bolt upright tails, with both heads in the saucer - took them seconds to clear it all up.

I'm going to have to keep buying it now aren't I?

dementedpixie · 08/11/2017 20:46

Mine love webbox sticks too. Have bought Lidl versions today and they seemed to like that as well (cheaper!)

TheCatOfAthenry · 08/11/2017 21:28

Baby cat looking like a massive bumblebee!

It’s cold and when I came in I couldn’t find purple cat. She was under my duvet curled inside my pyjama bottoms!

TheCatOfAthenry · 08/11/2017 22:29

They appear to think I’m attachment parenting them?

I'll take two Countryside Alliance memberships for Christmas for my fox chasing cats! The little feckers have chased two foxes out of the garden and are now strutting around like lords of the manor.

I wouldn't mind but one has cost me €200 at the vet for interstitial cystitis and the other one has an eye infection. The cheeky feckers will be the death of me.

Ollivander84 · 10/11/2017 17:01

Guess who's back? Not my cat Grin

Our neighbours have put up a fence (on their own property) thus gravely unconvincing gcat. He has been complaining about it all week.

dementedpixie · 11/11/2017 10:27

My boys were 1 yesterday. Can't believe we've had them for 10 months now! Here's a wee before and after set of pictures
