Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

She's being a nuisance today - I don't know what she wants. She doesn't know what she wants. She's been fed, watered, stroked, and let out for a runaround.

It's like having a disconsolate black bunny rabbit hopping around.

We had a delivery from Amazon today

I had a bit of a fright earlier. I had opened the bedroom window (which opens onto the sloping roof) and pt the catch o the door as Ernie always makes a beeline for the open window...Only the catch is no longer working. I looked in all the usual Ernie hidey places and assumed he had gone out the window, came downstairs to see if he had made it outside.

Only to find Ern sitting on a pouffe just looking at me as if to say "what's got you riled up woman" and you woke me up with your frantic Ernie-ing

Called Ernie in on Thursday night onlt to see him on the garage roof. Cue me shouting "get down from their now".

He sidled up the apex down the other side and back down onto the shed roof. It's obvious he had done it before as he had a definte route and no hesitation.

So as he can get on the garage roof it's only a matter of time before he makes it to the house roof (bungalow height) as it's only a short hop from on to the other. He also knows there are loads of birds nesting in the eaves

The snow is really deep today and both mine are furious. They keep going outside, meowing, then coming in all cold. Lots of little pawprints outside!

We went for lunch today and came across a feral cat colony. The most beautiful healthy looking cats. The restaurant manager said if we could catch one we could have it... He has been told to feed them, and they have a house..but I reckon they are less ducks on the lake now

Mine are both hiding somewhere after maisie licked an olive, was offended by it and felt the solution was to bob freya on the nose.

Also - cat based silliness: Although the cats obviously have names, we somehow started referring to them collectively as "the fluffs" and gradually progressed to calling each other fluff too. So now "fluff" can refer to either cat or DP depending on who it's directed to. You can see what's coming.
