Come one, come all, what's your cat up to today?

Mine are pleased that I'm home in time for the end of Pointless. Unfortunately they hate Pointless and would rather sit outside in the rain glowering in at me.

Reuben is not helping with my jigsaw again!

Can you tell I'm chopping something interesting?

I parked at home, opened my car door and it jumped in and started kneading me

Ollivander, you are the Pied Piper for cats. All you have to do is walk down the street and be followed by cats with not a hint of a Dreamie!

I had a friend over last night. Freya ignored her completely, friend was sad, and then after she left Freya yowled at the front door for ten minutes. Stroppy cow

She's on a victorian table - I threw a duvet cover over it to protect it from scrabbling little claws, but she's shed such a lot of hair on it!

Phin has been whinging since 6. Got up and fed him to try and shut him up on my first lie in for about 2 months but that only worked briefly. Got up again to see if he wanted to go outside - nope. Apparently he just wants to slink about with a look on his face and whinge

Just realised he is basically another teenager in this house All they do is slink around with a look on their face and whinge!

Mine's like a sulky teenager at the moment. A song came on R2 last night in the sitting room which I loved and played repeatedly on my mobile afterwards.

Cat doesn't like the song. After a while her indignation became clear so I retreated to my bedroom with my tail between my legs.

Maybe I'm the teenager??

@WetsTheVet took your time working that one out . Phin waking you up was the cat version of "Mum Mum Mum I BORED" during the holidays, when everything you suggest is rejected with scorn by the teen.

Girlcat does this to me. I'm happily sitting at my PC in the study and eyes start to bore into my back. I can even be gaming with the headset on and I feel The Presence. If I ignore her, or talk but don't move, she starts plaintively squeaking at me. So I stop whatever I'm doing & follow her to the living room. She promptly goes to eat some dry food, then sit staring at me just out of reach. That's all she does - stare. She may or may not give a desultory swipe at any toy I offer her but goes straight back to staring.

The Presence is a really good way of putting it

I’ve just dropped mine off at the hotel. Daphne refused to get out of the carrier and the little one ran shouted all the way there. They will be fine though. I’ve sent all their own food it’s a shame they don’t knock a couple of quid off for that. They do seem to really love cats there so I’m not worried and I don’t feel guilty that I’ve chose for them to go outside rather that the £30 a night fur lined cell indoors with the telly, the beds are heated and it’s under a huge canapy they can’t get wet. I’m sure they will be fine. Now I need to get packing for my holidays!
