Currently in the middle of making arrangements to meet - he's a breed rescue - and yet to check over the house for 'breakability' issues etc. (He's only young - and it's a good few years since I had a cat that could potentially leap living with me.)

Yikes!!

Relax? With a Siamese in the house? Don't they call that letting your guard down? Grin

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 20:04

I learned to relax with Firstcat. Wink I just worry about this one because he's new and because of the .....circumstances.

He's just sussing out the lay of the land before he starts asking for things Smile

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/07/2017 20:17

I'm hooked and following for a picture!

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 20:19

But. But. You had a picture, Dame. (And I though it was a very tasteful paw tip! Grin)

Very nicely turned ankle he has.

Another one here hovering for photographs!

HemanOrSheRa · 07/07/2017 21:48

Blimey. This is like waiting for the birth of a baby!

DartmoorDoughnut · 07/07/2017 21:48

That's ok cozie Grin

I've always had a Siamese on my wish list but I made the foolish mistake of marrying a man allergic to cats Hmm he has to put up with my existing puss but I'll never get another one through the door I don't think Sad SO I'm being greedy and hanging on for pic of a leg Grin

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 22:12

I was given Firstcat - an old-style sealpoint - as a birthday present when I was in single figures. (Terrible idea - but my mother lucked out because we bonded.) The rest is history. Smile

Pics of Firstcat would keep me going Grin

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 22:36

Spare a thought for Newboy's poor first owner. He's in a bit of a state with worry.

Lanaorana2 · 07/07/2017 22:47

A paw!!!!! A tiny furry foot!!!!!!

Might we see a knee next?! Teasingly peeking from behind a coyly raised curtain??

Siamese obv follow The Rules.

Country Hunter is a very Good Sign. Poor Newboy's first owner, well, what can one say. He will be thrilled when he realises how lucky his boy is.

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 22:57

I'm looking forward to him actually speaking. I don't think you can really get to know a cat - particularly a Siamese - until you hear them speak.

EachandEveryone · 07/07/2017 22:58

Aw the first owners tried for three years what a shame. I didn't realise things could be that bad. He shouldn't worry I have no fears over this one. What's his name?

cozietoesie · 07/07/2017 23:03

9 months or so - once he decided that he'd taken against his housemate. (When Siamese decide that they don't like another cat, though, that's that. They seem to spend all of their time thinking of ever more inventive ways of doing them in.)

His name is Newboy. Smile

Lanaorana2 · 07/07/2017 23:28

Newboy is a beautiful name.

Mr C has just been shouted at for the first time in years. He's tripping and tripping me, relentlessly. Dangerous, partic in the night. It really rattles me. I'm sick of being sent spinning when I'm stumbling to the loo as it is.

Lanaorana2 · 08/07/2017 10:05

Did we have a good night? Me and Mr C in purry bliss. No tripping, extra chewsticks all round.

Ollivander84 · 08/07/2017 13:11

Here's a treat for cozie (yes I know it's FB, I'm not anon on here)

Ollivander84 · 08/07/2017 14:15

Very much so Grin

cozietoesie · 08/07/2017 14:19

There must be some seriously inattentive owners out there. (Or a few humongously active male Siamese - I grant you that I've never known cats who are so 3F oriented though. When they're entire at least. Wink)
