Currently in the middle of making arrangements to meet - he's a breed rescue - and yet to check over the house for 'breakability' issues etc. (He's only young - and it's a good few years since I had a cat that could potentially leap living with me.)

Yikes!!

'He's a REAL UNIT'.

I must confess that I hadn't heard this phrase before.

Might I assume that it's an expression of extreme approbation? Grin

Urban Dictionary enlightens us:

unit
An absolute machine. Looks like they never leave the gym and usually out to cause trouble.

Terminator is considered a unit.

Ah. Grin

Blinking cheek, eh. Poor timid little kitten, he could fit in a teacup, possibly. Grin

A part of me feels obliged to point out that even the Urban Dictionary may struggle to accommodate Newboy in his prime. Grin Grin

....Poor timid little kitten.... Grin Was that a direct vet quote? Wink

Newboy is starting to put on muscle. All these stairs and the Country Hunter! Smile

I'm renaming stable cat a unit Grin
Groom was eating tuna, she tried to take some so got put on the floor but not before she smacked groom around the face

cozietoesie · 21/08/2017 20:15

She must have been in a good mood for a Unit. It sounds as if he walked away. Smile

Ollivander84 · 21/08/2017 20:53

She was in a strangely good mood. I suspect she had battered the dog. I even managed to remove about 70 burrs from her sides/tail/face without a single scratch

Lanaorana2 · 21/08/2017 20:59

That groom's a bright lad. :)

Country Hunter is a cracker. Any more visuals?

I am trying to get a pic of Mr C and a teacup. If not in one, but strangely he's reluctant.

cozietoesie · 21/08/2017 21:45

He clearly adores it. Smile

I'll try to capture a picture come roast chicken time. Smile

Change of plan. Taken at 'Slightly warmed soup time'. Grin

Oh he's beautiful! That's a very inquisitive look. Or perhaps "hurry up slave creature"

cozietoesie · 21/08/2017 22:52

He's a handsome lad. Smile More young sealpoint colouring than chocolate - which makes sense given his parentage.

Lanaorana2 · 21/08/2017 23:05

He is properly stunning. Love that head tilt of enquiry - he's not so scared these days, is he.

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 00:40

He's not quite as scared as he was - but that's not saying much. He has the sealpoint solemnity and pride. (The chocolate points that I've had have been more happy go lucky types.) Luckily, my very first cat was a sealpoint.

Ah, he is lovely. Alert, but not insecure. He does look quite fit too. Love the shading on his paws: a bit like having chaps on.

Kibobear · 22/08/2017 08:26

Girlfriend says hi Smile

She is very impressed with his handsomeness Wink

RubbishMantra · 22/08/2017 11:46

Isn't he a lovely boy, those big searching eyes! I bet it's hard not to just scoop him up for a big cuddle. Mine like their soup slightly warmed too.

A giant tea cup for Mr to have his Alice in Wonderland moment.

RubbishMantra · 22/08/2017 11:48

~Not just any Mr., Mr. C of course!

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 13:25

He ate his lunch while I was in the kitchen and then sat outside the door for a couple of minutes, just watching me. (Then he must have run out of courage because he dived back upstairs to Club Tropicana and had a pee.) Small steps but quite significant ones? Smile

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 13:31

She's such a pretty one, Kibo. Smile

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 22/08/2017 14:54

Definitely significant steps there Smile
