Currently in the middle of making arrangements to meet - he's a breed rescue - and yet to check over the house for 'breakability' issues etc. (He's only young - and it's a good few years since I had a cat that could potentially leap living with me.)

Yikes!!

That's a milestone, for sure. 2 min is a jolly long time.

Even the stoutest heart gets nerves.

M you have totes made me shriek with laffs. Merriment high at Castle C. :) :)

Userwithoutaname · 22/08/2017 16:21

He's a beautiful boy!

OliviaStabler · 22/08/2017 18:28

He is a beautiful cat!

iloveeverykindofcat · 22/08/2017 20:11

He's gorgeous, so elegant!

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 20:20

Very elegant. And he already has the household settling into place round him. Grin

He's coming around to the idea your not going to murder him in his sleep.

A lesser mortal would have thought it a lost cause by now.

Puffpaw · 22/08/2017 21:10

Beautiful cat 😻

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 21:56

It's true though, Fluffy. I don't think he slept at all at first - which couldn't have been good for his mental state.

Here's hoping you're watching The State Newboy for tips on citizen control.

Mr C is taking a peculiar interest in the meal serving duties allotted to the less expensive slaves.

Mightybanhammer · 22/08/2017 22:18

Cozie - I am a fierce animal lover but stand back in utter admiration of your patience and love and understanding of the breed. I once lived with a man and his three Siamese. They drove me away in the end. I yearn to know what his real name is... but never tell us.

cozietoesie · 22/08/2017 22:20

I started young, Mighty. (My first cat was a Siamese.) Wink

You should do a book on The Proper Care and Maintenance of Siamese, Cozie.

Really - you won't get it into every Waterstones in the country but it will sell and sell and sell on Amazon. Core stock there, y'see. Then another book on petcare which will also fly out, thereby subsidising the Country Hunter.

Lanaorana2 · 23/08/2017 10:23

We can put quotes in from all the cats 'Buy this book' 'She warms soup, slightly' etc. on the back.

We'll ignore the one from Newboy saying 'Stop typing and snack me up'.

Vinorosso74 · 23/08/2017 10:26

Hello Newboy, good to see you properly!
He is a handsome fellow and seems like good progress is being made.

Well - he could get a paw in it! Grin

He wants to know why such a promising vessel is devoid of food.

Lanaorana2 · 23/08/2017 20:45

Exactly - and he did put a paw in it to check.

cozietoesie · 23/08/2017 20:53

To check what? Grin

"The Unit" of cattitude that is Mr. C is very handsome. I had a similarly sized female tabby who was the terror of the neighbourhood dogs and the vet always thought she was male!

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/08/2017 22:05

That's a look & a half from MrC. No wonder you fling food at him all day.

The consequences of not doing so just don't bear thinking about.

TheLongRider · 23/08/2017 22:05

NewBoy must be getting more curious about the people he is with now. The fact that you've pretty much ignored him and given him plenty of time to think must be confusing him.

cozietoesie · 23/08/2017 22:23

I think it is, slightly. (Although the confrontation over his vet appointment didn't help at all.) He's surprisingly courageous, though. Nosey as anything.

Lanaorana2 · 23/08/2017 22:33

You can tell he is brave from his dear little clever face.
