Currently in the middle of making arrangements to meet - he's a breed rescue - and yet to check over the house for 'breakability' issues etc. (He's only young - and it's a good few years since I had a cat that could potentially leap living with me.)

Yikes!!

*take off the door.

cozietoesie · 18/07/2017 14:42

He's very neat, actually. So when he's covered up neatly, I can't tell so easily. I've had to up my game and leave a completely flat and pristine surface. That's the aim, anyway. Smile

Gawd. I bought a second treat ball - on the basis that that would be the only way to find the first - and now ball No. 2 is lost as well. Grin

Ah. I've found Ball No.1. Smile

That was absolutely guaranteed to happen!

Leroy has 2 "Mousies" for similar reasons Hmm.

cozietoesie · 18/07/2017 19:04

Which is why I bought Ball 2. (Still lost. Smile)

YesItsMeIDontCare · 18/07/2017 19:12

So when you lose Ball 1, and you buy Ball 3 because Ball 2 is still lost... how long before balls 1 & 2 magically reappear? 😂

Weedsnseeds1 · 18/07/2017 19:24

Hopefully ball 2 will not be strategically rolled to the top of the stairs in the middle of the night in the ultimate demonstration of his displeasure at the enforced move? Smile

cozietoesie · 18/07/2017 19:32

There is that..............Sad

He'll be fine. Just taking his time sorting things out in his mind and getting your measure Smile

cozietoesie · 18/07/2017 23:06

And eating. Boy can this lad stuff down food. Grin

Is he bankrupting you with country hunter? Grin

cozietoesie · 18/07/2017 23:28

He surely likes it. Grin (And it seems to agree with him.)

It's typical it's pricy Cozie, but it's a great intro for Newboy into the life of Riley.

If it's any use, when I had to enforce economy, Mr C went on Waitrose own-brand tins x 6 for 3 quid. He loved them, and the novelty didn't wear off.

I tried Mr C on a food ball but he looked at it and at me and made me open it and feed him by hand.

He had some upchucking yesterday. (I haven't grown accustomed to how much he eats yet so I may have overfed him. Additionally, we haven't achieved a grooming relationship yet so he may have furballs.)

I'm about to phone his new vet to book him in for his booster etc etc. (The last appointment was cancelled.)

Chopped Sirloin with juices proved acceptable for tea. Wink

I can't imagine why. Poor neglected Newboy GrinWink

cozietoesie · 20/07/2017 19:05

I just became accustomed to it with Seniorboy. (He required temptation at times.) I doubt whether this one would care as long as it had calories! Grin

Vinorosso74 · 20/07/2017 19:09

Sounds like Newboy has expensive tastes!

cozietoesie · 20/07/2017 19:28

Ha! I'm not actually convinced that he has tastes at all.

Some things go down more quickly than others but that's really like considering performance from a group of international sprinters. Some might be head and shoulders above others in the group but any one of them would still leave us standing.

I think he just looks at the dish and thinks ....FOOD! Grin

Haha well as a vegetarian I wouldn't be happy with steak for dinner.
He sounds like a teenager: comes out to eat at regular intervals then hides in room.

cozietoesie · 20/07/2017 21:09

I think there's some 'on the hoof' feeding going on downstairs. Lots of chasing and scurrying sounds.

Lanaorana2 · 20/07/2017 22:23

Slaver. Thank the Lord Mr C cant't read.

Yet :)

cozietoesie · 21/07/2017 13:49

Newboy now understands - took him minutes! - that food is delivered in the kitchen. (Saves me taking it up to the top floor.Smile)
