I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

Back from visiting parents, DP stayed with kittens.

Biscuit is sitting happily on my knee. Cookie is still sulking a tad, but coming around!

Important news: my Cookie has forgiven me!

Sybil is relaxing - too hot to be outside.

Dave is flaked out in the heat and Crispie is trying to keep cool in the grass.

Sybil is gorgeous, what sort of cat is she?

Sybil is a moggy (DLH) - sister of Basil. Both from Battersea as kittens 6 years ago.

She's fab, can I find Basil on this thread too?

Is he the one in the leaf pile?

There are a couple of pics of him already here but here's a pic of him sunning himself a few days ago.

My neighbor was chatting to me earlier and mentioned my boy has taken mice into their conservatory to play with. I had a corpse on the landing this afternoon and he had two last night. I'm amazed are any rodents left in the vacinity

Cookie has taught herself to play fetch with a mousie toy!

They should be fine, Each. As long as they're still eating, drinking and using their tray, some summer somnolence is all right.

Daphnes still not playing its like that part of her as gone she used to love DaBird. She will chase the kitten and even take it in turns but i feel bad she doesnt want to join in any games with the kitten. If its just me and her she starts off ok but then the kittem comes along and Daph just sighs ans goes off. I feel awful what can i do? Ive locked her in my bedroom so she can lie under the fan in peace.

The kitten is growing so their relationship will change. I'd just let them both get on with it. Cats can be odd in hot weather in any case. It's as if they bake themselves silly. Just make sure they're getting enough liquid.

When does the kitten go for her op?

It's like having a toddler. He's whined and whined and then we went to the vet so that wasn't acceptable. He's outside howling at anyone that will listen (not me, I have the fan on but he's scared of it)
