I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

I'm not sure. I'd interpret that face as bordering on seriously bad temper. Stable cat is more like a force of nature to me - if she swats things it would, I suspect, be in an 'unthinking' way. Grin

Cookie is being a cuddly fuzzleball of lovely.

Oh goodness maudlin this happens frequently to our cats too! I think it's our ikea drawers- they can get in and slip up and over the back bit where there's a gap but can't get back over the other way.
I have done many a midnight rescue! Though often freya is quite happy to sit back there with my lost socks and doesn't want to come out 😂

Ollie is all happy today. Woke up to him asleep sprawled across me and chirruping Confused

Scribblegirl · 16/06/2017 09:16

Merlin is helping me with the washing. We're going away for a few days and not back until Tuesday now - my friend is coming to stay and they know and love her but my heart is aching a little as it's the first time we're leaving them for more than a day! Giving them lots of fuss at the moment but they don't seem particularly bothered Grin

Zara was grooming Bibi's head this morning like a kitten, and Bibi was closing her eyes and lowering her head for it. Strange as Bibi is the boss, though sometimes it seems like Zara owns the downstairs and Bibi owns the upstairs whilst the garden is neutral terrority.

Jonsnowsghost · 16/06/2017 10:41

I woke up to this sight this morning...
He's now probably either back asleep or watching the birds out the window. His two favourite activities!

I'm back on nights so I'm trying to go to bed for and hour. Daph is fast asleep in one room and this little thing has come for cuddles

I hope you've taken her to bed with you? Smile

Ollivander84 · 16/06/2017 13:31

Stable cat was SO excited to see me today Grin she came running in screaming at me and threw herself at my feet

EachandEveryone · 16/06/2017 13:59

Oh how dramatic!!

Ollivander84 · 16/06/2017 14:03

As usual Grin I got head rubs and everything before she stalked off to scrap with the dog

caoraich · 16/06/2017 14:08

After getting INSIDE the duvet cover and having a wrestling match at 2am, Freya and Maisie settled down.

When I woke up Maisie very cutely came and snuggled up on my pillow, gently pawing my face. She then "meowed" in a surprised fashion and immediately produced a horrifically rancid fart. Envy (boak face not envy)

Turns out DP thought it would be nice to share his yoghurt with her last night Hmm

Monty is sticking his tongue out while dozing just to confuse me. (Probably just adding insult to injury following the crap on the hall carpet I've just cleaned up)

I've had a succession of cats who were all lactose tolerant. Luck of the draw, I guess. Smile

dementedpixie · 16/06/2017 15:01

Most cats are lactose intolerant although cheese and yoghurt have lower levels than straight milk. One of mine likes a bit of red Leicester from time to timr

Vinorosso74 · 16/06/2017 22:52

Had a few days without TV and internet (first world problems I know) so just catching up. Glad to see feline logic is still working!
Our student neighbours went out in the back garden to play cricket, Vinocat jumped on wall to watch through fence, next I saw was she was on wall on their side. I then realised game was halted due to her lying in the middle of the grass. They handed her back to us over the fence....

dementedpixie · 16/06/2017 23:37

We call them box cats! They do like a shoe box
