I have taken the liberty of making a new thread! Maisie and Freya are relaxing in a patch of sun

I was stalked by cats before I got one Confused
Anything feral is guaranteed to be snoring in my lap. There's constantly cats outside my window and patio door. I actually have a Facebook hashtag which is "not my cat" Hmm
My neighbours Birman moved in with me

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 22:19

Yes - but Ollie seems not to actually mind this one. Smile

Ollivander84 · 31/05/2017 22:24

Which is the strangest thing! Even when it was eating his food he just wandered about. Usually he would be spitting and chasing

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 22:29

She's clearly part of the household in his eyes. Smile

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 22:29

Sorry. Or he. Wink

Ollivander84 · 31/05/2017 22:30

He's gone to bed and the window is firmly shut. I am not risking waking up with a bed full of random cats

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 22:40

Where is 'herself'?

prettybird · 31/05/2017 22:44

Frasier brings us the pipe cleaners up onto the sofa for us to throw for him. Niles will then pounce on it (getting there quicker than Frasier who has jumped after it) play with it for a second or two and then leave it for Frasier to bring back up onto the sofa for one of his slaves us to throw again.

That's why last night's growling from Niles was so surprising. Confused

They do also have a Siamese cat toy with long floppy legs (given to us by their previous owner) which they love to drag around (it's nearly a foot long! Shock) and on occasion bring up onto the sofa (with an expectant look Wink). We're considering calling it Daphne Grin

Ollivander84 · 31/05/2017 22:52

No idea! Doesn't appear to be anywhere outside I can see

cozietoesie · 31/05/2017 22:57

She's either gone home then or she's in your bed. Smile

Oldraver · 31/05/2017 23:49

We've started to let Ernie out the front, usually when we are out there but he is also going out on his own...usually through the window. There are lots of hedges for him to hide in and he loves the change.

Only thing was he went out and was gone for three hours...eventually came in at 7.30...and the little bugger must of heard us calling him.

Yesterday, changed his mind about going out through the window

Poor Ernie. Those blinds are horrible to even hold.

Oldraver · 01/06/2017 12:48

Yesterday he jumped on the windowsill from the floor.....a major thing for Ernie as he has a leg injury....and his head went straight through the blinds. He was a tad...ooh what happened there.

He still keeps giving me 'looks' as I'm using the pouffe his bed elsewhere rather than it being in front of the window for him to climb on

Oldraver · 01/06/2017 12:53

Just now...one of his favourite hiding places

Cookie and biscuit are proper gangsta cats Grin

I have had a sad week as I've been banished sent to London for work.

Home today though, working on some reports and having lovely lap snuggles from Maisie. Happy times!

I have earned the title of Bad Cat Mother by sticking paper googly eyes on to LongGirlcat's tail. It was just too tempting!

They fell off after about 10 minutes. No cat was harmed in the making of this photo.

longrider - hilarious!

Found an old pic of maisie. Can't believe how much she's grown! She's still not very helpful workwise though

Longrider- hilarious! I might try that.

My DCat is ignoring me as I had the audacity to get up during the night. It was too hot and I couldn't sleep, went into living room to read. Clearly at night DCat feels the flat is solely his domain. He looked confused, hid behind the curtain glaring at me and then settled down out of reach but close enough I could see his angry eyes! He was clearly disgusted with my insomnia.

Obviously tonight when I can't sleep I'll stay in the bedroom to save upsetting him again!

MsHooliesCardigan · 01/06/2017 19:09

Crispie is hiding.

MsHooliesCardigan · 01/06/2017 19:13

Oldraver Poor Ernie Sad I just wanted to say that these threads are a lovely bit of light relief in the chaos of Trump and Brexit. All your kitties are beautiful (although obviously not as beautiful as mineSmile)

EachandEveryone · 01/06/2017 20:52

Sitting abit too close to the edge. We both like sitting out at this time though

@EachandEveryone I want to stick my face in her floof!

@Ollivander84 I had a dream last night that Ollie came to Ireland to have a holiday with my cats. Confused

Clearly I spend too much time on Mumsnet...

EachandEveryone · 01/06/2017 21:47

It's a shame isn't it that they can't get together the way people with dogs do
