Mine has the right idea.

The one I found must have escaped alive - and then died - Weeds. It had crawled under somewhere inaccessible to the cat. (Mice are truly small.)

I got to it just before any maggots escaped, you'll be glad to know.

Today cat no 1 is helping me unpack some boxes and meanwhile the new kitten hasn't quite figured out what the scratching pole is for 😂

I'd forgotten about the kitten crazies though! Poor cat is quite curmudgeonly at the moment (she's only 18 months but is an old lady deep inside I think)

That's what I did with the two we've got cao . Actually, with Frankie, I brought him home and then told DP he was staying! Good job DP is a big softy .

Ernie has spent quite a lot of time trying to get his 'blankie' to cover him..

I have moved the trampoline today, and last year I put weedproof membrane down and started to cover with stones...but before I could cut it to size he commandeered the extra bits and would spend hours asleep under there.

He's spent ages walking round, going under the blankie only for it to blow up...he is very very confused

I know Cozie. And of course the two small areas of soil I turned over today were just for him. And how dare I dig up and give away those lovely Day Lilys he has been trying to eat.

He was still trying to arrange blankie when I looked out last int he light. OH has just phoned and I told him about Ernies efforts and me laughing at him. He's said he will sort it for him when he comes home...at 6am

Just saved a little mouse from the jaws of this one. Heard lots of crashing about in kitchen and managed to get to it before she throttled it, poor thing. She's been studying it for days, then I come along and ruin the moment.

What a very disapproving looking adorable fluffy cat! He's gorgeous! Poor mouse must have been up against the odds til you stepped in!

LittleLion asleep on the sofa, BigLion being a nuisance as usual.
We got them when I was 6, so they're almost 15 now. BigLion has feline dementia so, bless him, he's not really with it. They live with dparents but I go and see them most days while dparents are at work as they get lonely.
Neither of them are overly helpful when it comes to dissertation writing, however...

Had breakfast, gone out for a couple of hours, come in and enjoying a roll around and a play in a patch of sunlight! Soon be time for lunch. It's a cat's life!

He's attempting to catch midges in the garden...and he knows I want him to come in so he's giving me 'the look', so I'm not playing and he can stay out.
